The Education Hub of Kashipur: Government Polytechnic

I choose this course because my father himself is a pharmacist, and there is a great scope in it. The faculty:student ratio is 1:40 in the pharmacy branch. The Qualification of the faculty members is upto the mark which is required to teach in any government college. The teaching is usually done by giving topic lectures and doing practicals in lab. The end terms exams are conducted in the month of June. It is a yearwise course. Along with it 3 sessionals exam or unit test are also conducted. The difficulty level of the exams are easy to moderate

The fees for the pharmacy branch is 12700 per year. So, in under 30k rupees, you can get your diploma in pharmacy. It is quite affordable diploma in this price. There are scholarship reserved for unreserved category and also for the female child student. There is no campus job here. Financial assistance is provided in the form of scholarship. However, I didn't got any scholarship.

The best thing about the college is the campus life. The 2 years which i spended at polytechnic are the best years of my life. There are various extracurricular activities performed, for sports, for dance, singing and much more. The books are present in good quantity in the library but in limited stock and also the librarian is quite rude to students. The classrooms are quite good but there are no facilities except the green board. There are no social group or club but NCC group is present there.

My admission was done by giving UBTER Entrance exam in 2020. Because of the corona, the entrance exam was late. I got 99 rank in the UBTER Pharmacy entrance exam and was eligible for the government college in kashipur, so I selected it. The application form can be found on the UBTER official website. The application form usually releases in the month of april. After doing councelling, we have to go any of the Government Polytechnic to verify our original documents and submit copy of it along with the admission fee. The one improvement I would like to see is that admission staff was little lazy.
