Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty of the institution is very good. Most faculty members are highly educated and qualified with a strong base in reserach. The student to faculty ratio is also good there are enough faculties to teach a batch of about 50 students. The exams although taken timely feel a bit rushed and the confirmation of syllabus comes at the last minute.
Internships Opportunities
I'm still in year one and haven't pursued any internships. Every semester you do have to write an academic paper after conducting a survey, experiment etc. which provides good practice for further writing thesis.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees does seem a bit high as now scholarship is provided for our course. It seems unfair as well as other courses have multiple scholarship opportunities. There's no financial assistance available that I am aware of.
Campus Life
There are various clubs which cater to varied interest but are not available for students pursuing masters or higher degrees. Events are frequent and well organised and very fun. The library is also very big and easy to access the university provides access to various academic journals as well.
Hostel Facilities
There are various hostels. The newer ones are very beautiful and well made. Although option of availing a single room may not be possible. The older hostels are also not bad and you can get single room as well. Washrooms are shared. Food is very good with a lot of variety.
Admission
Admission process was simple. It was based on merit and an online interview was conducted as well. The application form and fees were clearly mentioned in the university website and confirmation of admission was given shortly after via email.
