Course Curriculum Overview
So I chose Biotechnology and bioinformatics , well you get your department on the basis of your rank in jee advance , still I took this branch because it is a new branch and it has lots of opportunity. The faculty student ratio in our college is about 1:13 which is the best in all the IIT's. All the faculty have Phd's and are conducting research in college.Exam are quite difficult but still you can pass through a little bit of effort.
Internships Opportunities
Lots of companies visit our campus like google,microsoft , Amazon ,Microsoft ,Adobe they offer Software developer role.Overall almost every student who has a CGPA above 7 gets internship and many companies in t he core field also visit our campus .
Placement Experience
In the 7th semester you become eligible for the campus placement . The highest package offered is 64 lpa and the average package offered is 22 lpa. Around 90% of students get placement. So I will get college placement and after that I will do job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee is around 1 lakh per semester, if your income is below 1lakh then you don't need to pay the tution fee and if your income is less than 5 lakh then you get 66% scholarship on the tution fee. In the 2nd year of your college you can get a job as a teaching assistant.
Campus Life
The main fest at iit hyderabad is Elan-n-Vision and it is conducted in the month of march.The sports fest is called milan is conducted in the month of october. Their is a big library in the campus and almost every book and journel required for class is available in the library. IIT Hyderabad has the biggest sports complex in all of the IIT's and almost every sports is available in the campus.Their are almost 40 clubs present in the campus
Hostel Facilities
In the 1st year of the college you get double sharing and after that you get single sharing and I think they are the best hostels in all of the IIT's .The mess are good they are eatable.You get hostel after you take admission and it costs you around 80000 per year.
Admission
You need to clear or apply for 12th board exam.Then you need to clear jee mains after that you need to clear jee advance after that you can get admission in IIT Hyderabad.So if you are from OBC category then their are some seat reserved for you
