IIT Madras- the real place to be and live and enjoy

I choose engineering design due to my inclination towards designing and art . I also want to design automobile and aircrafts . The faculty here at IIT is just top class no comparison, also the young teachers are very friendly and helpful , everyone talks about innovative ideas and opportunities in the existing world.yes the term exam here are pretty different from other colleges it's like quiz 1,2 and then end term then practical and viva the quizzes are also very high level and require deep knowledge of the subject

The intership opportunity are amazing, as I am a non tech related candidate my projects related to that only, and for tech candidate i will say you just have to learn DSA and make project related to it and will recommend you to take part in hackathon also for improving your CV among others. For non tech it's completely dependent on your experience and communication skills you have to also work on your soft skills.

IIT Madras concludes 445 offers at the end of phase 1 of the placement. 25+ offers are of more than 1+cr per anum . 15 international offers were received from four companies. Major recruiter are Microsoft, Flipkart, Bajaj, jp Morgan, Google, Samsung and many multiple national company like Amazon etc . Almost 85-90% student get placed. My plan is to get a non tech related job and then do my MBA from abroad

The fess seems very reasonable to but it could be a bit less as compared to NITS as it's less than a lac for NITS . Fees structure :- Tution fees (per semester)1,18,000 + hostel (30k around per semester) + other charges (expenditure) The scholarship is also being provided to lower category students + economical weaker+ on the basis of the educational performance at the campus. The average package stood at 17lpa+ for every branch also the alumni network is one of the best among various IITs we also get intership opportunity during the summer or winter break time by the campus.

The college life is just unbeatable at IITs but what makes IIT Madras so special is it's wide diversity of students and the peaceful environment just imagine it's has its own wild life century of its own also you will dear and peacock and monkey every in the campus. For the techies we also has the India's fastest computer setup in our campus. The sports part here is not much great but it's everything upon your will to play.The fest here are unstoppable continues celebration going on the campus like sarang shaastra fiesta The PARADOX is the greatest among all .The NIRF ranking is also number 1 for IIT Madras for past 3 years. Beautiful las green 653 arcs campus size . The best part is our director V Kamakoti, huge fan of him .

The facilities here is uncountable actually i personally thinks the peace and happiness it's provides is no where close to any of the other IIT or another college in India as it's has its own wildlife century also world class library and buildings specially the hostel infrastructure is great it's very well maintained but i think the North Indian will feel a bit difficult to catch up with the humidity and food of South Indian. The best part is also the E-cell present in the college which promotes entrepreneurship among the students. The food her is good can be better and less oily . The charges for hostel is different for different types of hostel like AC and non AC single room or 3 sharing room it ranges from 50k to 30k per semester. We also have facility like guest house, open air theatre, place of worship, also the best part is the Friday's movie at oat which i personally enjoy. I don't know about pg I stay at hostel

The candidate must clear jee mains and jee advances with a good rank less than 5k rank.one must also have secured atleast 75% in class 12 boards or one must be within the category wise top 20 percentile in his/her class 12 boards. Admission is done on the basis of jee advanced rank through JoSAA counseling.only simple category based reservation is available document must be issued after 31 March or after must be issued by the central government.I think the admission process is just perfect as it's own reputation among the society and all over India
