My experiences

my overall experience is good and sometimes bad to depends on the situation. But my overall college life is under some rules and regulations.

I do not attend any separate exams for joining. my HSC marks is enough to join engineering under anna university affiliated colleges. Our college is also one of the affiliated colleges. I scored 178.5 as my overall cutoff mark for engineering that time it is much require to join this college.

I'm studying mechanical engineering, as far as our department is concerned they are teaching quite well. We have some spare space for us. Staffs are almost students friendly, not everyone. Teaching wise all are not same. Teaching style of the staffs vary. They are caring too. But using some silly rules to control the students

Placement wise mechanical is little bit weaker but we could not say that there is no placement for mechanical. we are sending students directly to the companies with the guidance of oue staffs. In placement issues some of our staffs taking real care to the students and placing them in tier-1,2,3 companies.

Every year in our college they are conducting inter college cricket tournament called MGR Trophy for every colleges. other than that we have symposiums, sports events for hostel students and also for day scholars but not in our college level. They are going matches and games to other colleges

Because of the compulsory bus and mess fees is to high for me to affordable. Otherwise it is under anna university calculation. They are giving some importance to food that is why they are getting that cost. Also bus it is a long journey daily we are going

Government scholarships available for backward and SC/ST students. And also minority scholarship is available for Christian and muslim students.

Campus life is like a struggle with many rules and regulations. as gender ratio is concerned girls and boys are more or less equal to each other. we are allowing students to do what they need and what they want to do in their college life but with some sort of rules. we allow the students to go for competitions and symposium conducting on other colleges. Every year we are participating in national level football tournament for inter colleges.

we have some conflicts with our staffs and seniors too. But they are not a big issue because everyone in the college are like brothers and sisters. i have some of my quality time in my college.

Yes. it is. every lab in our college has frequent space for the students. Exams are conducted by the Anna university not individually by any of the affiliated colleges. Practical exams are main fun part in every engineering college even in mine too. It'll be some fun there is no words for explaining it.

First I applied through anna university by filling their counselling form. They called me to choose a by their means after some other day. Depends on the marks we can able to choose our college and also on the availability of the seats allotted for the anna university. I chose this college.

The teachers are well qualified. We have some of the staffs who are having industrial knowledge equal to book knowledge that would be helpful for us to reach the industries easily. Some of the staffs are pushing the students to do projects for industries and trying to take us a industrial visit.
