Jss's overview

I didn't chose the EEE due to rank not being suitable for CS department got EEE. Faculty is not really good,in EEE department there's teacher shortage only very few are there. You'll find teachers having their post graduation from private universities. Teachers teaching methods aren't satisfactory some wouldn't budge from their place and read line by line through a ppt. In a semester there are 3 internal exams. More than half the time you'll find yourself just giving exams and won't have sufficient time to do any other course or extra curricular activities. You could pass the test if you study accordingly.

Placements of college are average.decent companies visit tech mahindra,tcs, Infosys. In 2022 highest package offered was 57lakhs and average package is 6lakhs. 87% of students get placed approximately. After getting the degree will have my own startup

Fees structure is pretty good compared to others. For 1 year it costs 137000rs. One could apply for scholarship that's provided by Uttar Pradesh government for Uttar Pradesh residents only but. Placement provided are okay but here, there's no internship provided. You've to go for off campus.

Life at college is really dull, it's more of like you're attending school.It's pretty strict. Jss's has only one fest that is "zealicon" it's both cultural and tech fest lasts for 4 days. Best thing in college is it's library,opens from 8:30am to 8pm only. College has only one canteen and has just few items which gets closed by 5pm. There're different societies in college for entrepreneurship, literature,music,dance, cricket, football, basketball, volleyball,tech.In total there're 27 societies. Girls hostel has 2 accommodations ac and non ac. Ac's room cost around 1,27,000 and non ac 95,000. Barely you'll get ac rooms, normally are acquired by management students prehend. Each room accommodates 3 students provided table chair and almirah to each one and 2fans. There's no medical facility provided in hostel and is no canteen there for girls. In a day breakfast,meal, snack, dinner is provided. In the beginning you'll be able to eat it but with time you'll depend on Maggie By 9pm you've to report back in hostel and in college by 8:30pm. And have to give attendance through biometric sensors. Hostel registration process is done when you report physically for college admission.
