My experience at NITT

I have always been a computer science entusiast and henceforth joined the course. there a total of 23 faculties with around 500 students in our depatment and faculties also have Teaching assistants who are PHD scholars who take our classes sometimes. Every faculty holds a Phd in their expertise area and the teaching method of every professor is pretty much the same we have classes according to the credits each courese carries and the teaching methods are very effective and informative textbooks and sources are used.We have 3 assesments per subject two cycle tests and one end semester exam and there are additional assignments given according to requirement and the exams are of medium difficulty to pass

1. google - 150000 sde role with development projects with coding expereince projects- website maintainence and outcomes are to finish the given tasks succesfully 2. microsoft - 150000 sde role with Ml and development roles with coding expereince - Chatbot building with outcome to finish building it 3.oracle - 100000 sde role with development expereince - database management 4. samsung research - 50000 Ml and Ai tasks- reserach topics to be explored. 5.Goldman sachs - AL Ml and data anlytics roles with stipend of 150000- ai and Ml integration into websites and finantial data analytics 6. Frcatal Analyitics - stipend 30000 - chatbots and cloud projects with outcome of completion

from 7th semester students are eligible for placements and many students manage to get pre placement offers from companies from their interships only. a total of around 30 companies have visited and one student can get only one offer according to training and placement department. software and hardware roles both are offeref and highest package offered till now is 64 LPA around 70% students manage to get placed and even i have been placed. I plan to join work force after graduation

the fee structure is as follows per semester tution fees is 62500 and with additional charges of 12500 in an odd semester so an average a student might spend around 140000 per year and their are many scholarships available using which a student can study without any fees payable. The institute also proviedes income based fee remission which i have availed. The placaments are pretty decent with companies like Google,microsoft and other MNc's visiting every year and the placement gaurantee is pretty high.

there are four main annual fests that happen. namely pragyan festember niit fest and sports fete all of which are number one fests of the entire south india The libaray has around twenty thousand books which provides wide knowledge to students. The classrooms have audio setup and projector facilities with a seating of one hundred fifty with auditorium sort of classroom. All kinds of sports are encouraged on campus with official college teams for it which participate in inter college competitions. Technical council Delta, spider GDsc and many other clubs are present in our college.

each room has a cupboard a table a chair fan and a cot. the meal quality is good and they have north indian and south indian varieties too the new joinees have to fill an application form for regitering into hostel and fees is very affordable . Thier aren't as many resourses if u want to rent a pg or a room u would have to take it very far from campus . campus stay is advisable

The entrance exam i had to clear was JEE mains.the eligibility criteria for Jee main includes passing 10+2 examination or equalivalent courses including Maths,physics and chemistry and should score minimum of 75% in the given courses and their is also age limit for appearing in jee main.The application form is avilable on the nta website for jee mains and usually the application process starts from november of every year and candidates can appear for the exam with 2 attempts to qualify and have to pay the examination fee per attempt. Application fee differs for different categories and for me it was 250 because i was a girl and OBC- non creamy layer.Yes the admission process can be little different during the conselling process during admission into the college
