What Students Say
Likes
- One thing i liked the most is that in the time of lunch break every student gets a free meal by college which was a good gesture.
- Bakery was very well equipped and also had a great faculty .
- Accommodation operation was also very well equipped.
Dislikes
- Sometimes teacher will get rude to you and support their favourites.
- Seniors sometime used to bully juniors by making us call them sir/ma’am and many more.
- Hostel was very hopeless. I think it was so dirty that some of my friends got skin allergies while staying there.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because one can get the deep knowledge of all the four core departments furthermore students to teacher ratio is around 35-40:1. Some of the faculties are very nice but some are rigid as well. Exams used to held after every 3 months first it was mid term than the semester end exams and they were difficult sometimes to check the knowledge of the students.
Internships Opportunities
Every student used to get an internship opportunity as it was mandatory for every student in second year to undergo a 4 months internship either in third term or fourth term. Many students get the opportunity from college but some prefer to find on their own.
Placement Experience
Ihm jaipur has a very good college placements record mostly every year around 70-75 percent students get the job. Although they are not high paying but it's okay. I myself got a job at puma for 3.35lac pa which was alright for beginning.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is very simple and very affordable as well because in private colleges it cost a fortune to study a hotel management course. Every semester students had to pay around 55000 for 6 semester which is around 3.3lac. I also got a paod internship at radisson blu amd after graduation i got an on campus job at Puma as sales associate
Campus Life
College is good at socialising as every now and then students used to get opportunities to participate in any competition or any public awareness drive like swachta pakhwada. Annual fests used to happen but it is not as grand as other college fests. Classrooms mostly had all the equipment that one need to study.
Admission
For admission a student has to clear Nchmct-jee exam which is held every year as a joint entrance exam and according to it's ranking students get allocated to their respective colleges in 3 round formats and you have to fill ypir choices according to your preferences if you get it in first round then confirm your seat otherwise try in another rounds.
Other Applied Colleges
International Institute of Hotel Management - [IIHM] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Hospitality and Tourism Studies)
Because it was expensive and the location of college was not appropriate for me
