Dislikes

Cancellation of classes as students face problems in travelling
Fans doesn't work properly in summer which cause huge disturbance in studies.
Very long timing of classes from 8am to 5 pm

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I'm interested in commerce. I'm preparing for my C.S. examination and it helps it that also. Maximum no. of students opt this course according to their preferences. There were a total 6 semesters in this course which is divided into 3 years. It is necessary to pass all the semesters to complete the degree of graduation.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 12700 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 12700 every year. The fees for the course are not very expensive. Delhi University provides all the facilities available for the students. University also provides scholarships to the students of their university for their growth.

Campus Life

My Life on the campus is very good. I'm experiencing lots of new things which I never seen before. There is a huge difference that came across after school life. It takes change in every student's life after school as New things and experiences have to be faced in college life. Books are provided by the college library, we just need a library card. Sports facilities are good.

Admission

Firstly I took my cuet exam to take addmission to DU. I scored 452/600 in my cuet exam. I applied with my sports quota so that I get admission to Delhi University by the sports quota. I got admitted to Dyal Singh College Evening South campus college at the University of Delhi.

Yes our college provides placements to the student and the students who are in their final semester(6 semester) are eligible for the placement. The companies which comes to college are Kpmg, dillote, Ey, bain and company etc. The average package is around 9 lakh and the highest package is 36.5 lakh.

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd semester become eligible for campus placements. Companies like pwc, EY, deloitte has visited our campus and offered packages according to the competency of student. 35-40% people do get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to move abroad and pursue ACCA.

Hansraj college- A blessing

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really relevant and comprehensive. For eg in bcom we study business law, company law, Human Resources management, marketing, financial and corporate accounting, finance, busines maths, stats, income tax, cost accounting, economics as ge so all these are really great well structureda and do have real life practical applications therefore i think my course is really very well aligned and comprehensive in terms of the business world.
