What Students Say

Likes

Sports will be conducted yearly once i liked it.
Ground and greenary in campus is too good.
Annual Fest will be enjoyable with various programs.

Dislikes

Faculty members are less and One faculty member will be handling 2 subjects.
In library needed books will not be available for exams.
Sometimes the greenary will look like mini forest campus not well maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview

To be honest I was a bit interested in this course because of technology. Faulty members are much more talented they are average in numbers. But some faculty members are good but they are not staying more than 6 months. Exams will be intermediate not much tough. Every student can easily pass if they study on there own but scoring is difficult.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For me, fees are around 1.5l but it's not the same fees every year it will increase yearly. Scholarships will be issued by the government and also by the college only for toppers. Campus placement is not good. If you want placement through campus better join a grade college.

Campus Life

Here the Annual Fest's name is VIBHIN. tech fest will not be conducted. Books are almost all good and will be available in the library. The campus is full of greenery. Infrastruce is ok but not so good. Sports will be vtu level and also sports will be conducted in fest time.

Admission

Firstly eligibility of the course is that the student should study in the science stream in a pre-university college. Students can get admission to the college through CET or management quota. There is no entrance exam for management quota for government seats there is an entrance exam through the highest ranking you can get the seat.

MIT Manipal's Student Plaza is amazing!

Placement Experience:

MIT Manipal Placements starts at around 6th semester as atleast the training and all starts. So final interviews and all starts for us in the 7th semester and before entering 8th or the final semester most of the placements are already done. I still wants to pursue masters as our university has tie-ups with American universities and our course skills can be bettered with masters is what I feel.

MIT Manipal boast a night life worth spending!

Placement Experience:

Around 47 students in our course and in 2025 36 of them were placed and rest I don't think even applied as jobs were definitely available. Infosys, Polaris and others who are now world famous for building cyber security systems were at MIT Manipal to hire students.

5 month into the cmrit how it unfoleds for the freshers

Placement Experience:

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.

From the 7th semester, college starts to prepare you for campus placements the final year students are eligible for placements. Number of companies visited the campus named TCS, Jspiders/Qspisers and Kodnest. The highest package got in the placement is 9lpa and average package is 3.5lpa offered by the companies. 40% of students got placed.
