Likes

There are various clubs and events that takes place here and all of the students get the chance to bulid professional skills and build a strong connection.
The Annual fest "Antaragini" is the best annual event that takes place.
College Library has all the books for reading and is quite impressive.

Dislikes

The fees here is too high and expensive for an average student.
Library is sometimes too noisy and can be difficult to concentrate in there.
For every small changes to take place you need to wait for days or even weeks.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course to gain my knowledge in Computer science and AI/ML Domain. There are really good faculty for the students and for every 24 students there is 1 Teacher guardian other than class teacher. Most of the techers here have a good teaching experience and are really very supportive towards students. Term exams are conducted every 6 months. The difficulty level or the pasisng criteria depends on the students performance.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Placement Experience

If you have good enough skills and potential, you can be eligible for placements from mid 3rd or 4th year. The highest package offered in 2023 was 14 LPA. Most of the sudents get placed here. I have plans to opt for Off campus plaments if possible after 3rd year of my degree because on campus placements here are average.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees here is quite high high but you can opt for scholarships within college which can help alot. Some of the scholarship are: AICTE Pragati Scholarship, Minority Scholarship, Dr. Panjabrao Hostel Maintanence, etc.

Campus Life

The Fest "Antaragini" happens once a year and its a great event considering the fun activities that happens in them. Books for almost all subjects are available in the library and its easily accesible. Classrooms have ceomfortable seats and spacious benches. There are a lot of Event thattakes place here, all kinds of students get an opportunity to participate and show their skills to others. There are also many clubs here for eg. Google Developer students Club GHRCE (GDSC GHRCE), IEEE CS and many more.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are provided for students. Each room has 4 beds, tables and cupboards for students. Hostels mess foood is the good, tastes like homemade food. To register for hostel you need to Visit the college and complete the process for registration. I am currently living in the college hostel named 5 Start boys Hostel, its located just behind the college.

Hostel Fee: INR 105000 per year

Admission

Eligibility for CSE for Open Category is around 91%ile in MHT CET. You can also apply in the college through Minority Based system. This college has Hindi minority. I have applied through CAP admission process of Maharashtra CET CELL.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

We can get addmission in GHRCE nagpur by after taking JEE AND MHTCET exam. The cuttoff of each branch is different for civil 75% is required. GHRCE nagpur have it's own site from where we can know about all the addmission procedure also the details of reservation is provided on site. I found the addmission process very easy and simple.
