Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the ECE branch because I was getting it in JSS. One of the reasons is I got a fee waiver in this branch and I don't have money to pay my fees, so I took admission to this branch. We got 10-15 faculty on a batch strength of 65 students. Most of the faculties are pursuing their PHD. Exams are not conducted on time because the college comes under AKTU but now JSS becomes an independent university so maybe in the future they conduct exams timely
Internships Opportunities
College does provide Internship opportunity. But they don't provide that much Internship. Most of them were unpaid or paid by the students. They are more like training, not Internships. But they focus on the projects.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are decent in this college. Most of the students will get jobs. CS, IT, and ECE branch students get most of the opportunities. Previously placements were not that good but now the college is working hard on campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the college are not very huge. During my time It is 119500 only. But there is a university fee of 7800rs also. But a good student can get a fee waiver as well. An FW student will not have to pay tuition fees. I am not aware of the job on the campus.
Campus Life
JSS also celebrates its techno-cultural fest. It is called ZEALICON. It is celebrated in the month of May. It is organized by the societies and clubs in the college. There are sports events as well in the college. Inter-college sports used to be organized in the college as well.
Admission
I have applied for the UPSEE exam. After that, I attempted the UPSEE exam. I got a good rank on the exam. Then there was a counseling process in which I applied for a fee waiver and got admission to the ECE branch of JSS Academy of technical education, Noida.
