Course Curriculum Overview

The future scope to apply and learn different courses is large. Planning is the next upcoming sector. Beneficial for civil services knowledge. Faculty have more than 30 years of experience in field/teaching. Term exams are not difficult to prepare but difficult to score.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 96600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My annual fee is 96600. The course fee remains constant for the whole duration of the four years but the mess fee was suddenly increased by 7000 in the middle of the year. Also every year an increase of 10% will be done in the MEF. I got no Scholarships.

Campus Life

2 cultural fests. 2 sports fests. 1 cultural and sports fest in the 3 months of each semester. Countless references in the library, one of the oldest in the nation. More than enough necessities in the classroom. Slight issues in the network. Check out societies on Instagram.

Hostel Facilities

Not up to expectations. Still under renovation and changes. Registration is easy but paperwork required. Affordable hostel cost and mess. The hostel is in ITO as well as at New Friends Colony. PG/Rented rooms at Laxmi Nagar, Mayur Vihar, etc.

Hostel Fee: INR 28000 per year

Admission

Maths is compulsory in 12th Boards. JEE Mains Paper 3 for exam selection and application through the JoSSA portal after qualifying. Required to have a rank less than 500. The Fee is subsidized by around half for semester fees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very vast and broad. It covers many aspects and after pursuing this course you can divert into many fields. We have subjects related to planning mostly and also we have other subjects related to computer softwares, photography, environment, social science, real estate etc.

Positive was mixed of cultures . Nice campus . Hygiene building . We have the honor like we are studying in central government University and it was among best three Universities which offer architecture and planning courses . Negative was bad director .

Remarks:

The college has brought out the best in me. What I always wanted to do in my Life (Architecture), I'm living that Life now. The college does its best to bring out the ideas and creativity hidden in every student. However, this brings out lots of pressure and work load on students. Most of them does their best, gives their hard and soul and they do great. But some can't handle their pressure and they give up. So, the college can do something as of which the students burden lightens up and it's not a pain to them anymore.Moreover, the college being a government college, the administration works really slow. This is one of the drawback of the college.

Remarks:

Every college has some good things for which they are known. However, since nothing is perfect, there are some drawbacks of the college as well.SPA, Delhi is one of the best architecture colleges in India and therefore the knowledge you get from here is outstanding. The faculties are interactive but they make you work like crazy. But that's how we go about it. The fest and the other activities are very fun and there is no way any one misses it. However, the drawback would be how the administration works. SPA being a Government college, lacks behind how the office works and how the cleanliness isn't maintained. This issue is trying to be solved, but other than that evrything seems normal.

SPA DELHI REVIEW

Overall, there are lots of negative remarks on SPA DELHI. They do not even provide basic facilities for the fees they take. Even what little facilities that exists are very poorly maintained. The lifts does not work more often than not, the coolers for drinking water are outdated and filters unchanged, fire extinguishers outdated, poor parking facilities, no grounds for sports related activities, no air conditioners in the classroom for the unbearable Delhi heat, very poor provision of funds, non-existent placement cells, and the lists goes on....Read More
