Likes

Faculty members are really friendly and good in teaching.
Campus is good with greenary and is best for enjoying.
The facilities provided by the college is good.

Dislikes

The way they perform fest is quite bad and disgusting.
Not having many extra curricular activities.
Not giving freedom for students for enjoying.

Course Curriculum Overview

They were conducted for 2 days. It is quite a difficult exam which is easy to pass and difficult to score. But getting a rank of around 20-30k would make you enter better colleges with better placement.

Internships Opportunities

The internship provided by the college is good and is way more helpful for students. They are more interesting and enjoyable for beginners and help the way how should work in the future. They help in making us capable of job placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure that is to be paid to the government is around 1 lakh excluding this the college will demand u to pay 15k-20k fees as extra fees for college expenses. Here you can apply for a scholarship in Karnataka called as ssp scholarship which provides you with a scholarship of 20k for general and obc, for sc/st it is around 65-70k. When it comes to placement jobs 70% of students got placed this year.

Campus Life

There is good teaching and the staffs are friendly and help us to score good grades they even help us in placements. There will be extracurricular activities like sports and fest which boost students to participate in it.

Hostel Facilities

According to my friends the hostel facilities are good and bearable .but the food is quite not tasty but the security the college provides for students is Highly good. The students have secured life for 4 years.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

We need to take an entrance exam in Karnataka which is called kcet which is done for pcm subjects, after completing your pu exams you should apply for kcet by paying 500 rupees there will be exams conducted for 2 days. I got my reservation since I had my caste and income certificate. I think the admission process is long and boring.

Interview Experience

4.5

There will be no group discussion or interview. It is just the written examination which is called kcet which is held for 2 days. These exams which are held for 2 days are based on the topics studied by you in 11th and 12th standard.

MIT Manipal boast a night life worth spending!

Placement Experience:

Around 47 students in our course and in 2025 36 of them were placed and rest I don't think even applied as jobs were definitely available. Infosys, Polaris and others who are now world famous for building cyber security systems were at MIT Manipal to hire students.

5 month into the cmrit how it unfoleds for the freshers

Placement Experience:

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.

Placement Experience:

As our college has 100 years of legacy it was one of the top college. For the reason of its legacy many companies offers jobs and many of the best companies are come to our college. As I am first year student I don't have idea about it lot. Average placement is 54 lakhs. Almost above 70% of students get placed.

From the 7th semester, college starts to prepare you for campus placements the final year students are eligible for placements. Number of companies visited the campus named TCS, Jspiders/Qspisers and Kodnest. The highest package got in the placement is 9lpa and average package is 3.5lpa offered by the companies. 40% of students got placed. Your plans after getting the degree I wish you to continue in the field of IT to build couriers and grow with to the greater hikes.

It's a good clg out clg is underrated

I only applied to this in management as my cet rank was bad and choose this clg because they take less fee compared to other big colleges and it's near to my home and no traffic only 10 minutes away it's easy to go and cm.
