Course Curriculum Overview
. I choose the course of Computer Science and Engineering as I have an interest in building software and programming languages. 1:10 was faculty to student ratio Most of them are postgraduates and many are phd holders. Each semester is of 6 months in which there are 2 unit tests, mid sem exams, end sem exams for each subject The difficulty of the exam is slightly greater than moderate.
Internships Opportunities
.I currently have quite less knowledge regarding the internships, as coding ninjas and some others have offered internships. Projects were -Web development, Projects on DSA etc(less knowledge about this)
Placement Experience
To my knowledge, 6-semester students are eligible for campus placements. Placement Record 2021-22 Batch Highest Package: 47 LPA (AMAZON) Average Salary: 9.6 LPA Some of the companies visited are. AMAZON MICROSOFT NEWZERA SAMSUNG INFOEDGE The percentage of placement is almost 100 per cent in CSE Branch To get a high-packaged software developer job.
Fees and Financial Aid
. There is no fee hike for many years, the cost to study is around 1,35,000 Indian rupees per year excluding the hostel and mess fees. There is no scholarship or job you got on campus stipend, but there is fee recession on the basis of the student's father's(or family) income.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest name "Ougri", which is conducted every year, also there are tech fests and science exhibitions (one was conducted this year) Most of the books related to the curriculum are available in the library. In each classroom, a smartboard is there. Every year there is intra nit sports in which almost all the games(indoor+outdoor) are conducted, also there are celebrations on festivals like Republic Day in which you can participate, as a first-year student I got freshers party also this year. There are coding(Qubit), dance and other activity clubs which are managed by seniors.
Admission
The eligibility criteria are to pass the jee mains examination The application form and other related details are mentioned clearly on the jeemains.nic.in website. There are benefits for Sc, St and General -Ews candidates in the admission process. Some more details about counselling should be mentioned by the government as it is an exam of national concern and after competing in the exam, students shouldn't face issues with counselling so that they can get the best-desired college according to their marks/percentile.
