I liked the cultural fests and educational fests that takes place in GAT
The teaching faculty is very supportive and helping
The college campus includes library, lecture halls, with beautiful green views

Dislikes

We get very few holidays except the weekends
I didn't like the canteen food available in the college
There are only some government buses available till the college

Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed CSE in global academy of technology because of it's rising scope in future and this college is exactly what i wanted. This college has faculties who are well qualified, knowledgeable and experienced. They are very supportive. I didn't find any type of difficulty in facing the exams, the syllabus was completed days before exam and rounds of revisions were conducted which made it easier to attend exam a score good grades.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I got my seat in this particular college through entrance exam so the college fee is fixed and low comparable to other college fees. I applied for ssp scholarship and received amount which helped my addmission process finnancially.

Campus Life

Global academy of technology is a allrounder. The education is good and also the cultural fests. This college also encourages sports and NCC candidates. A biggest fest in this college called INTERACT is conducted every year with lots of enthusiasm. There will always be many small fests going on. Educational games and tech fests keep going too. The whole college is wifi enabled and library has very good environment and has lot of collections.

Admission

I got addmission in global academy of technology through KCET entrance exam. Kcet is an entrance exam in Karnataka. The seat allotment is based on kcet rank. My rank was 10k in kcet and i got placed in this college at first round counseling. I didn't get any reservation benefits but i got a very good college.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

There are atleast 3-4 offers placed per student according to their criteria. The placement faculty do not fully indulge in preparing to young minds to their desired faculty.

A Student's Perspective

Placement Experience:

From the 7th sem students are eligible for the placements their are many companies visit to the campus like google amazon flipkart and many other but i am not aware of the names of each and every companies. the highest package is given by amazon i think as i heard a package of 1cr got by a student. and many of them even got 5 lpa. percentage of the students getting placed is not fixed as it depend on the student skills and the no of companies visited to our college. my plan is to get a good placement and do a regular job.

College without fun but the completion of course

Placements are available in this college but, I will not say it is 100%. Only few companies will come for campus interview like (Wipro,360 realtors, Capgemini..etc) Average salary package is 3.5LPA Highest salary package was 12LPA

You can join here because of the student community

I applied to this college because it was decent before. But our seniors ruined the reputation for us. This was the only college is chose. You can get into college through cet comedk and management. But management is not worth for this college. The eligibility is to take pcmc/pcmb in 12th grade. Most preferably it is cet and comedk. The cut off's are within 40k and 20k....Read More
