Remarks

The college is very good and we can get so much of experience in all the fields and it had good friendly environment and good facilities and good faculties and I got some good friends.

Entrance Preview

i wrote kcet[Karnataka common entrance test] to join this college. this college was near to my house and i had a dream of studying mbbs in this college itself. so i came to this college. there was no interview process that was followed during the admission. Since we entered this college through kcet. I was interested in biology and this attracted me towards medical field so I chose this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

as I was interested in the medical field the course which I chose was very good and interesting. There good focus on the practical knowledge and the college provided us all the facilities for practical stuffs. Yes, the college took research initiatives and it involved some students in that also.

Internships Opportunities

The college provided some internships and I had good experience in that and got some extra knowledge and I also got good experience. I got some ten thousand cash as a stipend amount.

Placement Experience

1

There is no placement in mbbs and I have no much idea about it. But the students after doing their mbbs go to search their jobs. Otherwise some of them go to do higher studies.

College Events

3

There were very little events that was conducted in our college. The events were not so big but it was enjoying. The college also supported for organizing these events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was affordable for me and I felt very easy to pay also. I fee which I paid was around 50,000/- which included college fee only but for every book we have to pay separately.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college was providing scholarships to the students. But I didn’t get any scholarships from college side. The college did not support for getting any loan.

Campus Life

3.5

The college was not so good in conducting the extracurricular activities but sometimes we got some opportunities to explore our talent. The facilities given during the evets was good

Hostel Facilities

3

I did not stay in hostel but my friends used to stay in hostel. The rooms were not too good but the rooms were spacious. There were only two sharing rooms only in the hostel. I do not know about the payment of the hostel. The food was good.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni interaction was not there regularly but only sometimes we used to have. But the college did not provide proper platform for alumni’s.

Exam Structure

The exams and labs did not make us to feel tired at the end of the day. it was chill culture.

Faculty

4

The faculties were well qualified and had good experience in teaching the course. All the faculties were very interactive with all the students and they were very friendly us. The standard of teaching of all the faculties was good and they had good experience in teaching.

The curriculum is great. It is followed as per RGUHS ( Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) guidelines. There are currently RS4, RS5 and RS6 curriculums. Each curriculum is different in it's own way. The pattern of subjects, exams and NEXT exam has changed as per each year and curriculum.

Postings are helpful because we get to learn a lot of things and even the practical classes of pre and para clinical subjects. But keeping attendance mandatory for theory class doesent help much bcoz at the end we remember only those things which we have studied in our space and peace of mind. But attendance is very important criteria for getting eliginility for final exams

MBBS is a big part of my life , best course to take if you love reading and love science. Teaching methods in our college involves patient interaction and stuff giving us more practical knowledge. The internals take place once in 3 months followed by minimum of a month study holiday for the finals. The internals are fairly easy .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I grew up in a family of doctors and it was always my plan to pursue Mbbs. The faculty I would say like every college has the great ones and the not-so-great ones. The faculty: student ratio is high, but it all comes down to the quality of teaching. And which is okay as compared to govt. Colleges. Final Exams and at the end of each year, with question paper being set by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. It is considered a very difficult exam to pass among medical universities in India. And 3 internal exams are conducted every year by the college itself.

Since it is a medical college. There are not many direct placements. We secure a good result and our next exam score decides the college we get placed or the pg course we shall be pursuing. My plans after getting this degree would be to pursue a course in general surgery.
