IIIT Ranchi - The Absolute Review

I always wanted to be a Computer Engineer because I'm very excited whenever some technology is involved. In this job, there is a constant need to learn new skills and I'm a person who never wants to stop learning. So, what would have been better than enrolment in this course? There any only 2 branches, so fewer faculties compared to other colleges that have more branches, yet it's sufficient. The faculties are highly qualified, being P.H.D. holders. The teaching method is quite good and everything's well-taught in the class. The exams are conducted timely and a semester exists of roughly 3-4 months. And it is not at all difficult to pass those exams. Even after studying at the last moment, it's easy to pass with good grades.

There is a TAP Cell, Training and Placement Cell in my college, which provides so many opportunities for batches, with a stipend with a very wide range and PPOs are also given to the same. Various companies arrive for hiring students as interns. Hiring for so many roles, for their SDE wing, Data Analyst, and many more. Your resume needs to be having a good project for you to get shortlisted.

7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Google, Adobe, Amazon, Walmart, Oneplus, Ola, Capgemini, HCL, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, IBM, Byju'sand many more The highest 46 CTC and around 16 students got offered more than 20 CTC 93 out of 103 students were placed So many students got multiple offers. I want to get placed in Google and I'm doing hard work for the same.

The fee is roughly about 1.3 lac for a semester for everyone, irrespective of family income. The tuition fee is 90k per sem and hostel fees are 15k and the mess fee is 16k per sem. The first fest was held in May 2023, Ephemere. So many useful books are available in the library for the students to read and borrow. Air Conditioned Classrooms, Proper lightning and trees surrounding it are some of the amenities. There is a Sports Club and every sport has a separate club with separate Presidents and Vice-Presidents. Regular sports events are conducted, inviting students from various colleges. The houseOfGeeks Technical Club, Sports Club, Literature Club, and Dancing & Singing Club, each of them are maintained by students for students.

You need to give Jee Mains Exam and secure a good rank, within 45k, to get into this college. You get admission through JoSaa Counselling. You should have passed class 12th with PCM.
