Remarks

I'm experiencing a world in which a girl can enjoy her freedom and at the same time can avail proper training both in studies and also in extra curricular activities.

Entrance Preview

I wrote keam.... I got admission through this particular exam..... The process that they followed was selection of students by 4 allotments on the basis of their entrance rank and also their favourite course which they preferred.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose btech in applied electronics and instrumentation. Institute support internship. Lbs is a world where women enjoy complete freedom obeing all the rules and regulations.

Internships Opportunities

College provide an internship in keltron, vssc, bsnl etc.... Certificates are also provided for the students doing the same...

Placement Experience

85% of the students got placed in companies like ibm, infosis,amazon,etc...they are paid an amount of minimum 25k as salary after their training period.

College Events

YAGNA DHRUVA... which is the queen of fest is the major event.... It comprises of technical and cultural events... Apart from this inter college events like UDHGRISHTA, ESCAPEDO, YAVANIKA... etc are also conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I paid an amount of rupees 35k annually. Apart from this amount students can choose management or nri seat if they can't afford merit seat.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provide scholarships for those students exhibiting excellency in studies and also to those who are below poverty line.

Campus Life

Badminton, chess, basketball, cricket teams etc lead by the students are a great success. College is having a facility of gymnasium.

Hostel Facilities

I'm a day Scholar. College is having hostel within the campus having all the required facilities for the students. Hostlers are enjoying the facility of homemade food prepared in its kitchen. Rooms accompany a maximum of 2 person.

Alumni/Alumna

We have one period every week to interact with our alumni so that they ca share their experiences with their juniors regarding placements , group discussion, interviews etc.

Exam Structure

Exams are conducted at regular intervals after completing the required portions according to the syllabus.

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

My 1st priority was this college and I've successfully achieved that. I've chosen this college mainly as it's near my home town and this college have 3rd position over Kerala for pass result percentage. I have never got rejection from any college as this college was my first priority. For admission process the students must wants to clear keam exam and those who got higher rank will get the seats. My college LBSITW is a government controlled self financing engineering college . It is managed and controlled by LBS centre for science and technology , a government organisation .
