Remarks
I would say to management, dont impose too strict rules/discipline like separate public cafeteria for girls and boys, separate section in libraries for girls and boys, too much of tutorial classes after college hours, give some time to relax and study on
Entrance Preview
I took CET which is now COMMEDK. I got 4126 rank in the result. I met a lecturer from the same college during counselling in bangalore. He showed me some data and I got convinced to take admission there. My econoic condition was not good to afford expenses in bangalore. So despite of seat availability in good college in bangalore I chose CIT. Here the hostel (living and food) expenses were less compared to bangalore.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is good and they concentrate more on making students studious.
Internships Opportunities
I did not get any internship as there was no much scope of campus placement.
Placement Experience
They use to conduct pool campus placement, so I use to travel to the other colleges. I do not remember how many place exactly from my college but have got placed, in my branch (E&C) around 15(approax) out of 60 got placed in wipro,infosys and oracle. There were companies for placement like SIEMENS, Caritor, HCL, Wipro, Infosys, Vaisnavi Technologies, Diya Software, Cellstream, Zeetech, Oracle. Wipro,Infosys, SIEMENS and HCL offered between 2.4- 3 lacs. Oracle offered 5 lacs per annum. Now the campus placement have been improved.
College Events
Ugadi and some local south Indian festivals they celebrate. We had college day celebration annually. IT Sourvbhaum competion for technologies for all the branches. They conduct intercollege paper presentation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Hostels are good and enough to accomodate students. Rooms are 2 and 3 sharing with attached and common bathrooms which are good. Food is also OK kind of not too good. PGs are also available to stay outside hostel which is very near to college.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no scholarships available. But one can get Education loan which they do.
Campus Life
Gender ration was 60% boys and 40% girls. There are mixed students from north and south India but, it is south Indian dominated culture. They had badminton, football and hocky. College was hockey champion in intercollege tournament. There are IT competions conducted in the college for all the branches. They celebrate ethnic day in a year. Labs are good but in some of the labs you need to share resources, Faculty members are not enough qualified to do projects on your own in electronics branches.
Alumni/Alumna
My experience was good with seniors, they were helpful. But some of seniors were there just to enjoy the and ragging juniors which everywhere more or less. But it has been improved.
Faculty
Faculty is not very qualified, one has to study on their own in some of the papers but they strict to give assignments and follow ups in the class.
