Experience of MBA at Lovely Professional University

There are a vast number of MBA majors that one can take the year is divided into 4 modules of 2 months each, and every section has almost 60 students per faculty, the first 2 modules are general where the courses are common but after that one has to choose 2 majors from baskets and the courses are then designed accordingly to one's majors

There are many companies that visit the campus for an internship after the first year of an MBA I had done an internship form Amazon which I bagged through the university apart from these companies like Amul, Wipro and others to visits for internships, one can also get them throughout campus mode.

for a master's, a student is eligible to take an OJT after 1st year of master's and in the last year of bachelor's, there are hundreds of companies that visit the university for placements, for MBA few of the prominent companies which visited this year are BIG 4, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finserv, Wipro etc.

The fee structure is flexible from year to year, it's around 8 lakhs in total in which one can avail scholarship accordingly by giving the LPUNEST or on other criteria like CAT. The scholarship is of 3 categories cutoff is in Ist cut off its 40% scholarship, in IInd its 35% and in IIIrd its 30% scholarship on fees.

There are over 100 organisations on the campus, for the MBA block there are a total of 9 clubs each of different domains, and cultural fests like YouthVibe, Spectra, OneIndia, and OneWorld are held in various months of the year apart from which there are organisational fests, activities and events on a regular basis inside the campus, there are various amenities in the classrooms like projectors, smart class, speakers etc. Libraries are in many places including one central library and various block-wise libraries which are more block focused for the particular subjects taught in those buildings.

The MBA programme admissions are done through various modes like CAT pecentile but majorly through LPUNEST a link of which can be found on LPU's admission portal, the examination consists of various sections like aptitude, general knowledge and English, and after the written, there is a personal interview in which general knowledge questions along with various situation based questions are asked, LPU gives various scholarship depending on the cutoff.

The written test comprises three sections one for aptitude, second for general knowledge and third for English and grammar. Ones a candidate clears the written there is a Personal interview where questions are asked based on general knowledge, current affairs, past education etc. The preparation was done by reading newspapers and for aptitude and English solving mcq questions from common chapters and following model papers given on the lpu site.
