Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in this field since I was in 10th when I saw a vessel at the port of Chennai so from that day I started researching this field. Faculty are well experienced and they are having more than 10 years of experience onboard ships.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 1000000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Maersk and mmsi provide internships with a stipend of 500 dollars after the completion of semester seven. There is a ttp project in the last semester of btech so it clarifies the tasks and we get the knowledge deeper.

Placement Experience

In semester 5 students get the opportunity to sit in the placements. Company naming Maersk, bw, mol, Seaspan, vships, burgbulk. The lowest package is 350 dollars and the highest is 700 dollars. 85percent students are now placed up till now

Fees and Financial Aid

Every girl cadet gets a scholarship every year i.e. 1lakh rupees by the dg shipping. Mainly reputed companies visited the campus of Manet to recruit the cadets like Maersk, bw, mol, Seaspan, vships, burgbulk etc.

Campus Life

Every year there is a fest which is conducted by the university ie. Persona fest. There are several categories of books available in the library of Manet which are very useful for students at the time exams

Hostel Facilities

Every classroom has projectors for the students to make them understand easily. Labs are air conditioning. Meals are very hygienic and clean. Hostel fees are included in the overall fee structure of course.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Admission

Students should be eligible to get admission in a manet if they did a diploma either they get 60 per cent in PCM and 50 per cent in English subject. Application forms and fees can be found on the official website of Manet.

Interview Experience

There is no GD for admission, they take the pi test at the start when u clear the manetcet test. After that on the basis of the rank, they select you. They will send you the medical. Basic questions are asked during the admission round.

NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

Student become eligibble for compus placements from third year. There are many companies who had came to MIT WPU like Nvidea, CJ , who are offering a pretty good pacakge . Giving the highest package of 51 LPA and average package of 7 LPA. Around 75% of students get placement from MIT WPU.

Talking about placements generally 3rd or 4th year students can apply for on campus placements. For companies you can the college website about companies, percentage placement, highest package, average package, median package, lowest package, etc. Also there are various options such as Mtech, MBA or abroad studies.

Amity University Mumbai : is it worth it?

As on date, the placements from Amity University Mumbai go quite well, and this is also the reason considerate students get placed after having undergone their seventh semester and beginning of eighth semester. All said and done, to everyone's concern in and outside Campus, companies like Google, Microsoft do not regularly visit Campuses

My course actually good in the future aspects and my college is affiliated with pune university so relevancy is good .the syllabus prepares us well in terms of the curriculum . But sometime the college is not finished with the syllabus and it can sometimes challenging for the students

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. An awesome journey.

To sum it all up iam delighted that I opted for this college. I got placement in one of the best companies because if this college placement cell. This college has a great infrastructure and all the necessary aids for the successful completion of my course. The management is very helpful. The faculty altogether is really good and upto the standards when it comes to knowledge and experience.The only area where my college needs an improvement is in the staff during the first year of our college as a lot of newly graduated students are appointed as tea hers which are not able to take the pressure.
