Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because this course provides a chance to help needy people and that's also my nature too. There are 3 subjects per semester of this 5 yr course and there are around 8 faculty members per department.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee per year of this 5 yr course is 25000. Before 2 years it was 4000, this is a huge increase in the fees which is a problem for many students. There are various scholarships provided by Government.

Campus Life

There are very less annual fest or programs held in my college. There is rarely any program. My college purely focuses on studies. There are groups according to one's interest as a sports group, and a singing group.

Hostel Facilities

There are 4 girls allotted per room which is enough as per room size. The meal in the canteen is also healthy and sufficient. The canteen menu is also based on the nutritional requirements of my age group which is a good thing.

Hostel Fee: INR 1200 per year

Admission

To apply for this course one has to clear the neet ug exam after getting a good score on that exam we can take admission according to the rank list provided by the government. Neet UG exam contains a course of standard 11 and 12 science streams.

The exams are very difficult there are viva voice and theory exam you have to pass both by 50% otherwise you are fail in the examination most of the students are not passed in the examination it is so difficult

LIFE AT GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE SILVASA .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nowadays exams dates are getting flexible but mostly they are in march to May month Yes, it's tough enough as it is one of the most valued and tough qualification exams. In college, we get many exams monthly very hard though. But the main exams are 3 exams 2 internal exams one is midterm 2nd is before the final exams on full syllabus like preliums And the 3rd one is the final exam university exam ya all of them are very hard to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing the medical field was my dream since childhood. This college provides the perfect environment for studies and overall development required for students. Being the highest ranked medical College in Gujarat and constantly bagging a good ranking in all Indian medical College rankings there are no loopholes in the academic part provided by the college. There are well-experienced and passionate professors and the tutor to students ratio is more than sufficient. Since I joined the college there hasn't been a lecture that went vacant. While talking of academic curriculum our college strictly follows the curriculum provided by NMC. The professors are very much qualified in their field having done their post-graduation and higher studies from the b.j Medical College Ahmedabad itself or various top-notch colleges across India. The testing and marking scheme of the exams are competitive with top colleges. The tests are never delayed and the schedule is tightly monitored.

Infrastructure is almost of the modern age. So there is no difficulty in reading as well as residing in the hostels. Library and study rooms are well maintained also departments are well maintained with working labs.

All the things are mentioned above in detail. College still need to be taken proper care in order to attract more patients and for which it ia already working on, current condition is much better then earlier which is still going on in positive direction.

The ups and downs during mbbs

It is a very old and prestigious college in India. To take admission NEET UG is the entrance exam with a rank up to 100 for the general category and 200-300 for OBC. NEET UG is conducted every year in the first week of May with 20 lakh applications, the full mark is 720 and cut off score is around 695 for general which is very tough so it is very challenging to get admission is this college....Read More
