Remarks

If you just dont want to be an bookworm engineer rather a creative one,they go for this college. Also if you have some other interest in othe activities other than studies you can fulfill your hobbies here.

Entrance Preview

I have given JEE Mains to score 97 marks and SSC board percentage of 81 made my Percentile 94.00. This made me to opt to this one of the best colleges in Pune and probably the best campus here.

Course Curriculum Overview

For the first year Engineering the faculty is new so you cant much expect great teaching at the start. The course is based on the Latest Pune University Syllabus.

Internships Opportunities

Many named companies come here to find their employees. IT companies like Cognizant,Symntec,Accenture etc. They offer very good packages and opportunities.

Placement Experience

One of the major reasons why I opt this college is its placement guarantee. It scores about 75% placement every year and that also with very decent salary packages average 3.5lacs per year.

College Events

This is also one of the highlights of the college. Many events get organized every now and then like Sinhgad Carnival,Sinhgad Karandak,Dandiya Festival etc.

Fee structure is similar to other private college organizations. Its a mediocre fee so I think many can afford it.

Yes their are Scholarships for backward classes and fee concessions are provided.

Campus Life

Its extraordinary. Campus is very vast amazing beautiful scenes from this hilly area. Many extracurricular activities take place here like workshops of photography,robotics etc.

Hostel Facilities

Frankly college hostel is very good,clean,free Wifi and very sufficient for a healthy life. But you may not be very happy with Mess food here. Though you have options to change the Mess any time.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

Exam structure is based on the Pune University which consists of three Phases in each semester two of them are online exams and one is theory.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

Student become eligibble for compus placements from third year. There are many companies who had came to MIT WPU like Nvidea, CJ , who are offering a pretty good pacakge . Giving the highest package of 51 LPA and average package of 7 LPA. Around 75% of students get placement from MIT WPU.

Talking about placements generally 3rd or 4th year students can apply for on campus placements. Amity University Mumbai : is it worth it?

Placement Experience:

As on date, the placements from Amity University Mumbai go quite well, and this is also the reason considerate students get placed after having undergone their seventh semester and beginning of eighth semester. All said and done, to everyone's concern in and outside Campus, companies like Google, Microsoft do not regularly visit Campuses

My course actually good in the future aspects and my college is affiliated with pune university so relevancy is good .the syllabus prepares us well in terms of the curriculum . But sometime the college is not finished with the syllabus and it can sometimes challenging for the students

I applied for sinhgad college of engineering and on second MIT Pune in Pune as this 2 colleges provide chemical engineering . I got selected in the first college itself as per their required eligibility criteria and so i was fitted in that criteria and got selected their. Addmission was done through CAP centrallised Admission in that after getting selected in that college we need to pay rupees one thousand to freeze the seat to take the admission in that college. I choose this college for first as its fees was less than compared to MIT. And as we got admission through CAP we get scholarship and so we get 50 percent scholarship on college fees. I choose Sinhgad College of Engineering because, The "Sinhgad" brand is well-established in Pune. SCOE Vadgaon is often considered one of the flagship institutions of the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES). First of all I choose Parul University for engineering in computer science but this college is so many far from my house my family is not ready to send me there.
