Remarks

I write the Keam test but I don't get enough scores for getting admission to govt college. Therefore I choose bishop jerome Institute for my good future. The college provides excellent classes and placements are also provided.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because it has more job opportunities in the future. In our department, the teacher-student ratio is 1:20. The faculties have Mtech qualifications from top colleges like Nit, IIT, etc.

Internships Opportunities

TCS like companies calls for internships. Some other companies provide internships with stipends. The internship will be about software, Autocad, Interior designing, etc. The college provides internships for all years.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year onwards students get eligible for placement. The companies like TCS, Infosys, etc like companies visit colleges for placements. The students will get a minimum of 1 lakh per annum packages from placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has an affordable fee Structure and provided scholarships for students who attained good marks in the 12th class. The fee structure will be the same from 1st year to 4th year for a student. The fee hike is low.

The college provides arts and cultural fest. The collage also has a sports team. The sports team participate in intercollege and university championships. The sports include football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, basketball, etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP.
