Entrance Preview
I scored very well in my CMAT entrance test which was 93 percentile and college was very happy to offer me the seat. Though they took a couple of group discussions and personal interview rounds which were pretty easy. The topics given in the group discussion were taken from latest current affairs and interview round was informative and I learnt a lot.
Internships Opportunities
The college has introduced a new internship program during winters season. It is not a regular internship project and it deals with all the social responsibilities that a student should know of. The students are required to go to NGO's or panchayats or to any village to work in this internship programme.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are excellent, the hostel rooms are on shared-basis and the relations we make in hostel are amazing and for lifetime. Rented Pgs near college campus are not very expensive but they are unsafe for girls, so I would recommend college to increase the hostel facilities so that it can accommodate more students. Security is arranged nearby those PGs also so that students are safe.
Exam Structure
Exams should be more practical oriented than theoretical. Exams are very hectic and there is no time to study since semesters are very short and the syllabus is very much. The college should change the examination pattern to annual examination rather than semester examinations so that students have enough time to cope up with the syllabus and learn.
Faculty
They are the best and most amazing faculties a student can ever get, though at times a teacher has their own subject interest areas and focus on them, though students might or might not be learning the subject in that depth which they really want them to. The faculty is enriched with the knowledge and experience which is very beneficial for all of us.
