Renowned college for engineering in indore

I would suggest if you are a General category or any other category student and have not secured good rank in jee advance and have jee mains score near 200 then this college is very good for you

I took JEE Mains and JEE Advanced both in the year 2015 my JEE mains score was 151/360(maths-70, physics-22,Chemistry-59),being a general category student i would suggest you to take this college if your rank is below 25k my BITSAT 2015 score was 239/450 and JEE Advanced score was 120( maths-76,physics-44, chem-0) so i would suggest iet would be a very good choice

The course curriculum is based on the latest CBCS scheme which includes the weightage of both mid semester tests as well as end semester exams although I am not in much favour of this but this is the latest scheme so one have to follow it.In our curriculum many subjects topics and books resemble iit's Syllabus so is quite tough and challenging for student as well but in whole the curriculum is far better than many other colleges in state

Yes after 3 year gets completed every student is registered via internshala which provides internship to almost every student present in college the average stipend they offer is around 7500 rupees per month and also provides a good exposure during course

The placement rate of our college is exponentially increasing every year and now it has touched nearly 100% many big companies arrive here regularly and offers jobs to students some of them are Adobe,Capillaries,mu sigma,infosys ,tcs etc. And it has fairly good facility for every branch students

One of the most famous event that happens every year in mp is our AAKSHANK and we can proudly say that as we are damn sure that no other event is bigger than our annual cultural event in indore and we enjoy campaigning every year that happens for this event and almost every college student of indore comes to attend it the other event is Garba Night that happens during navratra and many more

The fee structure when i was in my first year of engineering was nearly 68000 per annum which makes it one of the most affordable colleges of indore after sgsits even I it's charge much more fees many local colleges in indore charge around 80 k so it is quite affordable in this terms although there is scholarship facility also for reserved category and economically backward students so it is a very good college in this terms

There are lots of scholarships offered by government if you get admission in this renowned college government has recently announced that anyone who secures under 50k rank and annual parents income is less than 6 lakhs than state government will bear the full cost of education so it is good and one get also get education loan easily being student of this college

The campus life is very enjoyable as it is located centrally in city and has access to each and every basic services that are required for college students the gender ratio is good here and since it is located near bhawarkuan so there are lots of cafe around so one can easily visit their with friends and have fun as college life is more about fun and lesser about studies...

Hostel facilities in IET are pretty good as i have heard from my classmates who live in hostel because I am a localite so I personally don't live there but it has fairly good facilities and annual charge is around 15000 annually and 1800 per month for mess facility its hostel facilty is quite appreciated by people

The seniors here are quite supporting and their are lots of alumni networks that play a crucial role in organising cultural as well as technical events over the year they also help junions providing notes via Facebook and help junior they play a big role in placement as well and are very important part in organising engineers day program and our famous band name is Goonj.

Yes the labs and examination are organized regularly on time and is one of the fastest college of indore means the semesters here starts earlier than the local RGPV colleges and end early as examination are scheduled early with less breaks between consequent papers and the student get a good amount of vacations as the syllabus completes faster

I gave JEE mains examination in 2015 and got 151 marks means I cleared it when cutoff was 105 .than I applied for counselling held by mp government and did choice fiilling and regarding that I got admission in this college during my time the result included board marks but now it doesn't include it so if u score anything above 130 in mains u can get admission in this college which will be an intelligent choice.

The faculties of our college are mostly phds and master degree holders they have a good knowledge of their subjects although as everyone knows that students don't study much in college otherwise they are very good when it comes to knowledge they are quite experienced as well many of them have more than 20 year experienced
