Proud to be banasthalite

For me, my college is very good. And I appreciate its management structure and working . And I will miss the khadi dresses in banasthali which help in maintaining the same standards for all the students.

I choose banasthali because its education and five fold activities are very good. Even the environment is good there.

The Bcom course of the college is designed very good .its like preparing the students for future study. In our course we are taught those subjects which are also in MBA . It will easy to understand the mba subjects after studying Bcom at banasthali. Even in the end of 4th sem summer training was one of my subjects. And in last semester dissertation (research) was carried by the students as it is compulsory.

Banasthali does not provide internship with its own . But internship is required for fulfillment of Bcom course in banasthali. It is the students choice where they want to complete their internship. Students have to search their internship company. Banasthali doesn't provide this facility to students. If anyone doesn't get the company which provide internship then the student is given a faculty guided project by banasthali.

Over the last few years, students from WISDOM got an opportunity to appear in campus recruitment interviews of many reputed organizations including Pantaloon Retail, BOSCH, Capital I.Q., all leading banks including ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Yes Bank, Deutsche Bank, Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, IDBI Bank, others like SBI Life, ICICI Prudential, Future Money ,UNICON, Encon, etc. The average package is around 3.6 lacs.

Wisdom ,The department of commerce organise a fest called navotkarsh for the management students at the end of the year . and there is opening ceremony and closing ceremony of the year also held at banasthali for all students of banasthali. Even a fest is also there on occasion of birthday of the founder of banasthali called aapaji mela.

The fee structure is moderate not so expensive and not feasible. When we see the education of banasthali the fee structure is good in comparison of other universities. I had to pay around 50000 for every semester including the hostel charge. The hostel charge is not high it is around 35000 for one year.

Merit cum need scholarships 1. Amounting to Rs. 5000/- Annual for 131students. 2. Amounting to Rs. 10,000/- Annual for 94 students. Loan facility is not provided by the college. I have availed the merit cum need scholarship. By which I get 5000 reduction in my fee ever year.

Banasthali is only for the women . there is no biasness regarding the religions .all religions are respected in banasthali. And the festivals of all religions are celebrated in banasthali. It can be holi ,diwali, eid, lohdi , Christmas etc.respect is given to all people and all religions. The students are from the whole country. There is no discrimination regarding gender, ethnicity, race and religion.

Banasthali University is a residential institution. A student admitted to the University will compulsorily have to join a hostel unless the student is ward of a worker of the University and stays with him/her in the campus or the student belongs to a neighbouring village community within a radius of 2.5 Km. There are 31 student hostels in campus of the University.

My seniors are proved so helpful to me in completion of my course. They helped me tackle all the problems whether it can be of education related or life related.

There are two periodical test and two assignments for every subject are organised before the final semester exam . and 25% of each above are added to final semester results and the final semester exams are of 40 marks and there are 5 questions of 8 marks each .

Firstly I had to fill a form for admission online and send the hard copy of it to banasthali by post . After some days I get my prospectus by post and invited for admission and hostel allotment on a given date.And it completed here. After that 7 days time period given to me to prepare myself for hostel life .And after seven days I was allotted a room on which I had option to choose single seater room or 2 seater as well as 3 seater.

The faculty of my college is so good. They try to cover everything which should be known to us even if it is not in syllabus. They try to motivate students to do the things which are of high level. So that there is no problem occur in future. They are available every time for their students help.
