My Honest Review - CMS College Of Science and Commerce

CMS college of science and commerce is an autonomous college which is affiliated with Bharathiar University. The admission process generally begins in March to May of a year it is very simple to apply through the college website or by directly reporting to the office It runs a 3-year duration of 17 Undergraduate courses and 2-year duration of 14 post-graduate courses. It also offers M.Phil and PhD Admission to undergraduate courses is offered on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination whereas admission to postgraduate courses is based on an entrance test, Candidates have to qualify in the entrance test. Finally includes document verification and fee payment

I choose this course because I had an interest in this field of career and also it fits in perfectly with my career goals The observation of the faculty member is conducted by the department head and also by colleagues at different times. Student feedback is reliable and chances of student liking or disliking are diluted. A proforma is developed and students fill it anonymously and the summary is conveyed. The student ratio in our college is very good in all aspects like timely completion of syllabus, knowledge on the subjects, confident and smart teaching style, helps in the development of analytical, creative skills to the students and supporting/guidelines for higher studies and employment. The study and examinations spread over six semesters for UG and four semesters for PG with a set of courses. The exams are timely conducted and results are published within 50 days. No matter which subject we need to study to pass the exam for successful completion of a degree.

The students will be eligible for the campus in the fifth semester for UG and the third semester for PG. Lots of companies visit the campus for the recruitment of candidates and where many are placed in companies with good packages. Companies like Wipro, IBM, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and more number companies are recruiting students. The student should have an average percentage of 60 to attend the placement interview. 60 to 70 per cent of students are getting placed yearly with a minimum package of 3 lakh to a maximum of 10 lakh. After my degree, I wish to get a place in a reputed company with a good package.

The fee structure for this college is decent and considerably affordable. Most students get opportunities easily and no doubt about it. The college offers scholarships to candidates based on their academic performance in qualifying examinations conducted by the university, 10, +2 rank/score, CAT score, aptitude Test and skills in sports. There is no financial assistance but there are more career job opportunities. It maintains a good placement record and provided job offers to many candidates from various courses.

Cms college environment is educational friendly. In our college, labs and libraries have very well-equipped systems, and it is helpful to acquire knowledge. Classrooms are designed with maximum equipment like projectors, which are helpful for understanding better. Fully computerized library stocked with over 63,000 books and over 206 National, International journals and magazines. It can accommodate a hundred students at a time. The college tech fests, CYBOLWA fest, Annual festivals spandhana, conferences, seminars, presentations, workshops, contests, cultural festivals and other college activities are conducted Sports like football, cricket, and athletic games are conducted in college. Cms college batch 2019 batch, CMS spandana and many Facebook pages and websites are run by the students.

The college has provided a hostel inside the campus for boys and outside the campus for girls. There are also many rented hostels and rooms available nearby to the college. College hostel rooms and washrooms are spacious, good, clean and adjustable. The availability of drinking water is provided regular and proper. The meal which is provided is very good and healthy. They provide both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
