Remarks

You are eligible to take admission in HBTU Kanpur only if you get 75+% in class 12th board examination and get a good rank (min 1.5 lakh) in jee mains exam this rank becomes 30k for CSE branch apart from this you must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh. If all the above conditions are satisfied then you can apply through its online site.

Course Curriculum Overview

HBTU is one of the most prestigious colleges in Uttar Pradesh. It is the only college with excellent placements even in lower branches. The faculty of the college is highly qualified and very supportive. There are 8 semesters in the course each with two types of exams midsem and endsems not much difficult but a little bit lengthy

The students will start getting their placements from the beginning of their final year only if they are eligible for placements. Top recruiters of the college are Paytm Oyo rooms Samsung Bangalore and many others. You must have an 8+ average CGPA in all of your years for a safe zone for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is normal as compared to other private colleges. The annual fees of the college are 135000 in 1st tear with some decrements in upcoming years. The hostel fees are 24000 for allocation and 18000 per semester for the mess. The one who is eligible can get UP government scholarship only if the candidate doesn't have any back in the previous year

Campus Life

There are a lot of clubs in the college. But honestly, some of them are not very good only a few like dramatics club art club auto rob clun these clubs are wonderful and fully active. Other clubs are not much active the reason is college invest the money only in 2 or 3 clubs apart from them all the clubs are unofficial

Hostel Facilities

The boy's hostel for 1st and 2nd year are very good you are provided with a bed a table a chair and an almirah. 1st-year hostels are single and triple seated. The 2nd-year hostel is on the west campus and it is also single and triple seated. The girls' hostel is on the east campus far away from the boys' hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The influence is obviously job opportunities in future. I would say that you have to learn alot of skills on your own as well for real World applications and further academic pursuits as the college does provide labs etc. but the course structure is kinda old. So yeah you have to learn alot of skills to become a job ready engineer.

Placement Experience:

Students after sixth semester are elligible for takes part in campus placement . The average package is about 6-7 lpa and about 50% student got placed and other are preparing for gate and other government jobs. Mainly, TCS, Wipro, Reliance, jaro education and many more tech company vised in knit. In last academic year the highest package is 15 lpa and lowest in 4 lpa. placement of our college is not very good but good as compare to other colleges . but you have to put a lot of efforts for on campus placement because a lot of students try for placement. 3-4th year student mostly eligible for camus placement i think 3-4 average and 27 lpa is highest for this year this is good for this year .almost 60% student get placed from campus i will try for off camus for placement

Life and placement

Placement Experience:

College placement are average aur blow average if I would say batch of 2021-25. Dispatch student make the average package above the 4.5 lakh or 5 lakh above and the highest package goes to 11 lpa. Many of the student goes to 8 lakh per annum in Paytm Infosys etc but now college have one year gap so there is no 4th year student in the college so the circumstances are two critical no companies are coming in this college

AITD kanpur college Review

Placement Experience:

I think after 6th sem Student are allowed to sit in campus placements . On campus placement is not so satisfying for degree student yet for polytechnic student they offer 100% placements. There are 5-6 companies that do visit aour college for placement. This college is near CSJMU nad HBTI so student's can go and sit their for on campuses placements too. 30-40% student got placed and some gor for higher education My plan after is to have my startup.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More
