Course Curriculum Overview

I chose B.tech CSE because of my interest in coding. In Uit(Uttaranchal institute of Technology) there are around 50 to 60 facility members all very well experienced in their field. They have a very practical approach to teaching. There are 2 sessional(unit tests) and an end term exam in each semester

Internships Opportunities

Companies like HCL, Josh technology, and almost 20 other companies provide internships with PPO(pre-placement offer) with an average stipend of 20.000 rupees. Last year more than 200 Companies visited for internship/jobs in our college

Placement Experience

Students in 3 years (6thsem) are eligible for internship and in 4th year for campus placements. Companies visited in 2021 were Walmart 31 Lpa, Josh technology-19Lpa were some companies. The highest package was in B.tech of 22 LPA and the average package was 4.9Lpa Students should maintain least 7,8 CGPA for eligibility to sit in company placements

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure can be viewed on the official website. The scholarship is given based on your marks in 12th Marks. the Fees which I have given in my 1st Sem was around 80 thousand. The net tuition fees will increase 5% per annum from 2 years onwards.

Campus Life

Many fests are conducted monthly, many workshops, Industrial visits are arranged for students and one big fest is conducted in which celebrities, and singers come. The library at Uttaranchal University is great you will get almost every book in this library it has also a large space for studying and reading rooms which are fully air-conditioned. There are many sports events happening on monthly basis. In (Uit) there are clubs like the computer science club,IEEE, Cultural club which organize various events

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are not that good, The mess quality is average, and the updated fees of the hostel can be viewed on the official site. There are four means provided throughout the day. Fridays and Sundays have a special meal. There are four types of room, single-seater ,double seater, triple and four-seater

Placement Experience:

The placements are below average but the students were below average too. But there were some exceptions. Due to relaxation on attendance criteria most of the students opted to prepare of GATE or Government exams. Students were eligible for placements in the start of 4th year i.e. 7th semester. Around 30-40 companies visited for the CSE department (for the roles of software engineers and marketing). Highest package was 6 LPA and average package was around 3 LPA for CSE. Around 20 offers were made to our department. As for the other departments, the stats are available on the site. 20%-30% students were placed, both on-campus and off-campus. I was fortunate enough to secure an offer during on-campus placements.

From 7 semester students are eligible for the placements and are eligible to sit in campus placement. Companies like TCS, samsung, Infosys, Axtencture ect companies are regularly comes in campus for placement. The heights package offered is approx 20 lpa and average package is 15 lpa . 50 percent student is getting placement. I want to work in a good company after degree.

Admission:

JEE mains provide the gate pass to enter into this college. We should have a great score in this exam to retain our place in this college. The only entrance is through JEE mains no more way. Instead to moving to other college I choose this because my brother did studied there a year before.

The college life here is pretty good but the placement these days are only reducing for various branches because they are taking more than enough number of admission in a batch.

I went for this college mainly because it is just little far from my home which is better because it near my house in just kilometres only that's why I go for this college and admission process for this college as they give scholarship of girls 5%. Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

I have applied also for Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran and mohali , Chandigarh University and Quantum University Haridwar I have got a confirm addmission in chandigarh group of colleges mohali but I haven't got admission there as it was far away from my home. Also I got registered in Quantum University by submitting 10000 registration fees but later on I have changed my college to Uttaranchal University anyhow even I don't know why even I was selected and fulfilled the criteria for all other applied colleges. Admission process is quite simple you have to come and need some documents like 10 th board marksheet and 12th marksheet and adhaar card or any proof of residence state and identity and fill a form and submit 10000 as registration and there you go you got admission in UTTARANCHAL University...Read More
