My Review of IST

For Getting Admission into a post graduate degree like M.Pharmacy the candidate should have passed a four year Bachelors degree with 50% aggregate while 45% for Reserved category. If you fulfill the above criteria in the next step you have to apply for TS PGECET it is an entrance test conducted for admission into PG courses. This year Registrations are starting from April 12 2022. The Application fee for General category students is Rs 1000/- and application fee for SC/ST/PH students is Rs 500/- you have to pay the fee online mode. The Application process is completely online no need of any paperwork. The Minimum Marks to qualify in TS PGECET is 30 out of 120.

M.Pharmacy is a popular two year post graduate course which is done after completing B.Pharmacy or a equivalent course. There are total four semesters in the course with two every year. I wanted to do research on the basis of pharmacuetics thats why i choose this course. Institute of Science and Technology has an esteemed faculty with good qualifications and many years of experience. The faculty student ratio in this college is 1:60 which i think is fair keeping in mind the Experience of the faculty. The Lecturers focus more on the Practical studies rather than the text books studies. There are two semester exams every year and two mid exams in every semester which are not very easy to pass.

The fees for M.pharmacy in Institute of Science and Technology is 90000/- which is quite high compared other pharmacy colleges but still it is resonable for the education and placements this college offers. Also there are some other fees like library and lab which you have to pay separately. Before every semester exam you have to pay exam fee which is mandatory otherwise your hall ticket will not be issued it is only Rs 800/- to 1200/-. There is no financial assistance provided by college and no jobs are there on the campus which is negative point. For students who are from Scheduled caste/Scheduled Tribe, OBC and Minority category can apply for State Government Minority Scholarship on the TS EPASS website.

Thec Campus has an amazing feel to it there are trees everywhere. The college has Very good Infrastructure with all the facilities available. The classrooms are very large and the benches are very good there are projectors in the classrooms. All the books needed for Exam preparation or jornals for projects are available in the library. There is a canteen which has very tasty food for very less amount. In my college lot of Fests and Events are organised where many students participate in different cultural Activities. Students are often allowed to play outdoor sports like cricket, volleyball etc. Various career growth seminars are held in the college.
