Entrance Preview

I take Imu CET entrance exam. For entering in thus college.or any merchant navy college. And Which is not easy because. It has a huge diccuasion of college staff take. Many interviews. And take lots of exams. Then they allowed to enter in college.

Internships Opportunities

Recently i dont know about interneship because recently i join this college. And After some days i knoen about these things. But many companies were. Come for taking students but. They take few students about there Gpa.

There is a less job placement all about there marks Jobs are less. But in high merchant navy colleges. They have 100 percent job placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In all merchant navy they have more fee structure in all merchant navy colleges they take more fees like 5-8 lakhs. Because its a cheap less college.

In these colleges there is a loan facility in all colleges Because many students have there goal for mechant navy and many parents have no more money.

Here is no gender ratios only boys are allowed beacuse its a boys work but yes, on ship there is girls but they are from uk or london and workshops are more for all student. Students have their own workshops and btech students have their own workshops.

Hostel Facilities

In this college there is no pg facilitues all students have conplsory to take hostel facilities because when parents goes with student for droping on that day they have a opportunity to meet with there child after there is no allowed for any body except staff.

Exam Structure

Exam structures are more they have many exams and tehy have complsory to ckear all exam for good jobs.

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.

I have opted this course as I wanted an uniform job and an adventurous one. Indian Maritime University and it’s affiliated colleges were approved by Director General Of Shipping.These affiliated colleges were providing Continuous Discharge Certificate and the fees for this course was comparatively lesser in this college than other affiliated colleges.
