Our college University Of Kota was established in the year 2003 by the government of Rajasthan. If you want to take admitted into our college then you can directly apply on the basis of class 12th percentage. You have to fill admission form online, then merit rank will be released on the basis of your intermediate percentage. If you qualify then you'll be invited for document verification.

The University of Kota offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. I chose this course because of the low fees. There is no discrimination. Faculties are highly educated and highly qualified. They have done PhD from renowned universities. They are so supportive and helpful.

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 15500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The University of Kota charges a very low fee at the beginning of the semester. My fees for B.Sc Biology is 15500 rupees including academic fees, library fees etc. The scholarship is given on the basis of your class 12th percentage. I had also got 10,000 rupees as a scholarship.

Campus Life

The University of Kota has a huge campus located in South Kota. There is a big library in which all types of books are kept. You have no need to books from outside. The campus is well organised. Laboratories are well equipped. Our college keeps on organising many events and fest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked biology and thus chose this course. Curriculum is almost totally based on real world applications. As for futher academic pursuits, this curriculum opened doors to wide range of courses for my master's. Exams are not that difficult. But timing of exams by Rajasthan University have been a bit off. Right now we are getting on track again and hopefully exams will be on time.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are average but improving every year students generally become eligible for campus placement from the final year which are 5th or 6 semester the colleges are placement sell that help students with training and Interview preparation after completing my degree I plan to either pursue higher studies or prepared for competitive exams to get better career opportunities the highest package offered is around 4 to 5 lakh per Anam while the average packet is a round to 2 to 3 lakh per annum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course mainly focus on core biotechnology subject such as molecular biology, microbiology, genetics, bioinformatics and may more. All there subjects have a large application in real world. In every semester there are 2 exams one is mid semester and another is end semester.

The placement cell is somewhat weak. There comes only 5-6 schools every that too from the extreme corners of India. Though the salary package and facilities like food and accommodation are good for a fresher but still have to consider it again and again.
