It was smooth and insightful. The application form can be found on the set (symbiosis entrance test) website. The timeline for application was also clearly stated and timely communicated. The GDPI process was also relevant.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Marketing and Finance. The faculty to student ratio is approx 1:80. The faculty is highly qualified and quite experienced. Timely feedback is taken from students as regards the faculty teaching and relevance of courses. Term exams are conducted every 6 months.
Internships Opportunities
Depending on your specialization, the college offers myriad internship opportunities in startups and established companies alike. Roles offered include- HR, Business Development Associate, content marketer, digital marketing, etc.
Placement Experience
The campus placements usually begin around the 6th semester. Several companies such as ICICI, Gomo, MyGate, etc. hire from campus. Approx 96% of students are placed every year. The highest package goes upto 10 lacs with an average of 8 lacs a year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee itself comes upto approx 3 lac per year. There is an opportunity of getting scholarships through the term-end exams and even through various schemes of the govt as informed by the college.
Campus Life
There is an e-library for students who may not be able to attend offline classes. Annual Fest- Sympulse is Pune's largest college festival organized by scms Pune. It has business events, cultural events, MUNs, etc. There are also 20+ clubs and cells like International cell, debating club, social club, etc.
Interview Experience
Written Test- it covers basic math, English, logical reasoning, and current affairs. It is an MCQ-type paper with a total of 75 marks and carries the most weightage. 12th grade- marks are also important criteria. Interview- It tests basic knowledge about business, general affairs, and insights into your achievements.
