IIIT Bhubaneswar Review

As per my GATE and academic score, IIIT Bhubaneswar topped my preference. As the college crowd is quite low and the placement standards of the college are quite high. The college has the good educational quality and the faculty are also awesome. After clearing the college I applied for admission from the college website and submitted my score and academic record I was called for GD and PI rounds. I was able to clear all the rounds properly and was allowed admission to the college.

The curriculum of the college is good and but the curriculum feels a little lengthy probably because the curriculum is flexible and keeps on updating as per the latest industrial and international standards. The curriculum provides and introduces us to all the concepts and fundamentals of engineering. The faculty is also wonderful. they are professional and very cooperative. The faculty is not only PhD standards but also have really very good research and industrial experience from top universities. The faculty of the college is very good.

The college internship program is good and the college provides very good internship opportunities. The college placement committee helps us to identify good companies for internships. The average stipend for the internship is around 65k.

The college has a very good record for placements packages and the college is able to reach the 100% placement record. The college committee is responsible for it as the college committee is full of responsible and professional members. the properly take feedback from us and are able to invite good companies. The highest package for the batch was around 44 LPA and the average package was approx 15 LPA. Around 85+ companies visited our campus for the college placement drive.

The college annual M.Tech program fees are around 1.76 lakh and the total course fee is around 3 lakh. The college provides very good placement and the average salary package stand up to 15 lakh which is a very good return on investment. The various scholarship scheme is available like CAFAS / Medhabruti by the Department of Higher Education, Prerana by SC and ST development board for SC/ ST / OBC, Scholarship by IMFA, Scholarship by VIKAS Educational Charitable Trust, Post Matric Scholarship by CHSE, Scholarship from NCERT, Special TFW scheme. Advaita is the college technical fest which is a very good opportunity for us to demonstrate our innovative skills and idea and Ingenium is the cultural fest of the college. The college infrastructure is well maintained. The college library is the house of bestseller authors around the world. The college labs are modern and equipped with many modern facilities. The seniors and the administrative staff is very cooperative and friendly. WifI facility for internet connectivity is also available.

The hostel rooms are available on a triple, double and single sharing basis according to the individual budget. The hotel infrastructure is very well maintained. The hostel warden and the staff are very good and professional they work very hard to maintain the hostel decorum. the hostel mess food quality is good and the menu is very vast. The hostel has 24 hours of water and power supply. The hostel campus also has 24 hours of high-speed WiFi connectivity. The hostel is full of all kinds of basic and modern facilities.
