College should have been more technically strong, should have worked on better Placement cell.Good part was having a great space, bus facility, good faculty, Hostel, etc.
Entrance Preview
Admission was on Merit based, during counselling few colleges was given as an option out of which selection was made by parents based on stream offered.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was on Production Engineering stream with subjects like Mechanics, Engineering Drawing, Elementary Civil, Electrical & Electronics, etc, Production planning, Engineering Design, electives was TQM & Material Management.
Internships Opportunities
College intern-ship experience was in a small scale industry. Being an agile kind of team (other students) experience was fantastic and surprising unfortunately there was not any kind of stipend but the learning was great to earn.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities was not there at time like these days, but yes placement assistance was given by the separate department who guided us how to make resume, prepare for an interview and give lead in companies where the opening was available.
College Events
Technofest - This was 10 days event comprising engineering project models, cultural programme, wherein other local colleges was also invited to participate. Spandan - This is a pure cultural event intercollegiate, used to happen every year - 20 Minutes & 20 people in Team to perform Dance, Drama, Skits, Singing and performing Music. Annual Games - 3 Days a year was the schedule comprising Cricket, Volley ball, basket ball, Table Tennis, Carom and Chess.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive that time - 50,000 a year, This was a management seat, other guys and backward class friends use to enjoy the fee structure which was within 10,000 only.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship was not internal neither loan few friends opted loan through SBI that I remember.
Campus Life
Apart of Technofest, Spandan, Annual Games which is mentioned in Q6 we use to enjoy many other hostel events like Birthdays, Sometime group cooked Khichdi. Intolerances and Ragging was there but on very light note.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility was not very great if I think now, but was great, about food we were never happy but was cheap 600 per month for two times and sunday feast.
Alumni/Alumna
First Year was terrible, fearful, Scary, Later it was very much fine, use to get good guidance about studies & Practicals.
Exam Structure
Exam structure was in four parts internal for eight semester external for eight semester vivas for eight semester, practicals for 4 Semesters.
Faculty
Faculty was all Engineering Champ! Best was Mr. Sadre HOD of our Department who guided us very well to understand the subjects and practicals. All Other Professors and departments was also very helpful and knowledgeable.
