Remarks

The eligibility for the course was that you must pass the 12 standard examinations. The entrance exam you need to give for getting into this college is COMEDK if you are'nt from Karnataka but if you are from karnataka you can give KCET.The admission process was pretty smooth and I did'nt had any problem to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course which I chose was BE in CSE which I chose because of the good placement opportunities. The student teacher ratio is pretty good, well I can't tell the exact ratio but it is how it is supposed to be.The teachers teaching are well qualified and have a really nice way of conveying the lectures. If you are from north one thing I can assure is that there is'nt going to be any problem reagarding language. So the problem with examinations over here are that they take 5 events in one sem excluding final sem exams but difficulty level of paper is moderate and is easy to crack.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Scope of internships in the college is reaally good.Companies come in college for internships from 5th sem and the stipend is pretty good. The job roles which they offer are web development , Automation, etc.

Placement Experience

4

From 5 semester students eligible for internships and which means they are eligible for placements as well. There are about 300 comapanies that visit the college and the placement record is quite good which is 100% for cse and ise and 92% overall.the highest salary offered previous year was 37 lacs pa and average is 10 lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is obviously much higher than nits and iits for the non-karnataka students but they take much higher in 1st year because it includes university fees as well but from the 2nd year that fees is not required.Fees hike is not seen as of now but can't tell of the future. There is financial assisatnce for the people who tell their financial problem to the college and the college surely helps with that. There is no scholarships provided.People from kcet which means the students of karnataka have to pay really less fees.

Campus Life

4.5

Jciana is fest which happens annually in college but due to covid they are not being conducted as of now.Library is pretty huge of the college and have various books for various departments by well acknowledged authors. The class rooms are quite spacious and can hold 80 students easily. The campus is humongous and this means various sports fields. There are many sports in the college which are cricket ,football ,hockey , lawn tennis , tt, badminton, etc .There are various clubs in the college for various departments for engineering and extra curricular activities

Other Applied Colleges

MSRIT | BE

Did'nt get the college due to rank

Placement Experience:

MIT Manipal Placements starts at around 6th semester as atleast the training and all starts. So final interviews and all starts for us in the 7th semester and before entering 8th or the final semester most of the placements are already done. I still wants to pursue masters as our university has tie-ups with American universities and our course skills can be bettered with masters is what I feel.

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.
