Remarks

The admission process is very transparent and those scoring above 50% in the Under graduation and without any backlogs can apply. The application form can be found on the college's official website and a fee of around 3k is to be paid as an application fee. The dates are pretty flexible and after the results of CAT, NMAT, or XAT, students can apply. Since I did not avail of any reservation benefits, I am unaware but on the website, everything is mentioned in detail. The courses are well designed to suit the industry connection and business growth that is required in MBA. The administration is quite helpful in answering all the doubts and their helpline is accessible.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The faculty-student ratio is 1:60 but the faculties are open and friendly. Any students can ask doubts and solve their queries after or between classes also. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. and there is a proper review system at the end of every trimester. It is anonymous and students can freely express their views and opinions. Since the institute follows a trimester pattern, end-term exams happen after every 3 months. Throughout the trimester, continuous assessments in the form of presentations, class tests, and assignments are conducted. The exams test the knowledge and understanding of the concept so easy to answer and take.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are a plethora of internships offered and varied stipends. Since this is just an internship, it just gives a trailer of the role we want to work in for the future. As far as marketing is concerned, there are numerous roles with good stipends coming to the campus. If performed above the company mark, you can even stand a chance to win a PPO i.e Pre-placement offer. Projects depend on the type of role you want to work in or experience and accordingly details are given. A proper interview, or sometimes a GD is conducted that gives an idea of what the final process would be like.

Placement Experience

4

Final placements happen right from the start of the second year. The roles are offered as per the course specialization and preferences given by the student. The packages are pretty decent and the highest package can go as high as 35 LPA, a good enough number for tier 2 college. Since this is one of the reputed colleges in Mumbai, companies arrive in large numbers. Average packages range between 9-12 LPA, depending on the specialization taken. Almost all students get placements. My plans after the degree are to work in the company to achieve my goals.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees include the books needed for each trimester. In offline mode, the classrooms are spacious and ventilated. For online, the college has been providing home delivery of the needed books as well as online copies for which the cost is borne by the authorities. The campus is lush green and huge. The details of the scholarship, financial assistance are there in the brochure as well as at the time of admission, they are communicated. On-campus, you not only get internships but also live projects. These are like mini internships that help us know better the role we are suited for. The institute has well industry connect so there is much scope is securing live projects and internships. Similarly, on-campus placements are good and almost all students land a job.

Campus Life

4.5

The college is a happening place to be in. Located in central Mumbai, with good connectivity, these 2 years are definitely going to be one evergreen memory. There are various committees that will help you live the MBA life and fests happening all year round. Though each one is different, participation is not mandatory but gives the experience to cherish. There are various case studies that are part of the curriculum. The library is a digitized one, and accessible from anywhere. Apart from that, the college has been giving home delivery of books in the online mode. The classrooms are big and huge. A lot of extra and co-curricular activities happening on campus give students a lot of exposure. There are many clubs (like drama, photography, sports, and dance) that are open to all students, and whoever wishes to be part of them can participate. These are handled and run by students completely.

Interview Experience

4

There is a combined GD-PI process. For HCM and SM courses, you have to submit an SOP- Statement of Purpose, the details of which are available on the college website, provided you are interested and applying for it. The GD-PI is 15 minutes round each and happens mostly on the same day. Slots and timings are conveyed via email after you clear the cutoff and your application status is submitted. At the time of admission, the documents needed are told to you in the same email and once admission is confirmed, you are required to submit all of it to the college. Your scorecard and hall ticket of the exam through which you secured your admission is of utmost importance while giving you GD-PI as it works as identity proof for you.

Placement Experience:

The average Lpa of the college is 9 lpa so it is good. Marketing gets 100% placement as compared to other streams. There is booth on campus and off campus placement. And the placement cells bring good companies and there are chances of PPO also.

College management is not that good, which I felt is need to be improved. making everything student centric makes it difficult for students as well as college to be organised.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only institute in pune where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. In fact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.
