Eligibility for the course is 12th passed. And you have opted for 12th with the medical stream. Application forms are available on the official site of the government medical colleges and hospitals. Reservation is like in total there are 16 seats 14 are for union territory Chandigarh itself, and 2 are for the outer state. Counselling and medical must be fast.

Course Curriculum Overview

I prefer this course Because from starting onwards, I love drugs to read, and anaesthesia is all about drugs. Ratio of faculty:student is- 1:2. Qualification for the facility must be at least above senior residents of that particular department. And their teachings method is quite professional and polite. There are 3 terms in the exam, and to pass an exam you have to score at least 50% marks of the total exam.

Class Size: 13Course Fees: INR 9400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fess for this course is about 9400, and cost to study this whole course in gmch, Chandi is 25000 for college fee and 30000 for exams fee for Panjab University. You can get the job of anaesthesia and operation theatre technician after the bachelor degree.

Campus Life

The annual fest is held normally, like euphoria, techno fest, plexus. They are conducted once a year. Books are available in a large number in the library of the college. Classrooms have good amenities. Proper dummy for practicals. Sports are like football, basketball, cricket, table tennis, badminton etc. No there is no group clubs ram by students.

Inside of PGI chandigarh from bsc nursing point of view.

Placement Experience:

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

CON GMCH PROS AND CONS

Course Curriculum Overview:

Truly speaking I was a NEET aspirant and while preparing for the examination to get admission to the MBBS course, eventually I started having an interest in nursing. As NEET was not in my hand, I cracked the Gcet exam and entered GMCH in the course BSC NURSING 4YEARS. I chose this course as my cousin's sister influenced me to do so. I already believed that being a nurse and qualifying from this college would gain a good rapport and recognition in itself. Moreover, I would able to solve my parent's problems in the financial aspect as nursing is highly paid for in every government setting. A step forward toward my goals, GMCH COLLEGE OF NURSING has also supported me in improving my overall personality. I'm now competent enough to interact and stand for my rights which was made possible only by this college. They not only inculcate professional standards in a student but also dig into a person to unbox the qualities beneath one. The examinations held pretty moderate to solve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was my second option after mbbs. And it felt like a safe option. This course is helpful for finding jobs in india and foreign countries too. There are must be 8-9 teachers. And per class strength must be 35-40. All teachers are highly qualified with there degree in bsc and msc. Some are doing their phd too. Exams occur 4 times a year.

Placement Experience:

For the paramedics, campus placement is done after the course completion, and side with the degree we have to do clinical duty. Maximum students are able to get the placements. My plans after the completion of my degree are for pursuing my further studies and do my master's for the same course.

Remarks:

Our college is very good located in very prime location. We get student health facility when we are ill at Nehru Hospital. PGIMER has a central library and even NINE has its own library with various journals,books and research papers. Training for students and teachers is provided by Visakha program.

GMCH- the best college

The main reason of joining this was the city Chandigarh. It's a very very beautiful city and worth living. Also the new building of the college is very good and equipped with all the latest technology and the labs are also well maintained. Although mess food is bit poor but overall hostels are good too.I read reviews on shiksha.com and all these reasons helped me choose this college.Main thing is the fest conducted by gmch.
