Remarks
The admission process was good. I had to give MHTCET to apply for this college, which is conducted by DTE. To get entry in this college, you need to study a lot. My elder brother guided me and he himself filled the form for me, and I just signed on it. According to me the admission process is okay and there is no need to make any changes.
Course Curriculum Overview
In COEP, one can find many courses and I have selected Information Technology. I chose it because from my childhood onwards i had an interest in Computers. The faculty is very good here. As a student, i can say that this college is the best. The teachers and their teaching methods are also very good here.
Internships Opportunities
Speaking of the internship opportunities, there are ample opportunities for the students of COMP and IT. But the quality of work depends on the company. Normally, most of the companies visit the campus for internships after the 5th semester.
Placement Experience
COEP is one of the oldest colleges in India, the reputation of this college is really good. This college admits the students with their MHTCET marks. Placements and packages are quite good. A company has to offer a minimum of 3.5lpa to the students from COEP, that means you are at least going to get a package of 3.5 lpa which is not bad as a fresher.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for every course varies. For my course, it is 40,500 for the first year. Yes, this college also provides scholarships. For example, it offers various government, non-government and industry-aided scholarships and financial aid to the students.
Campus Life
Every department has a big structure and infrastructure. The main hall is proud of COEPians. Labs, library, drawing halls, canteen area,etc. COEP gives you ample opportunities to develop your extracurricular. There are as many as 30 clubs in a different activity. A crowd of COEP is really very talented. Everyone comes from a different state, so there is mixed of cultures.
Interview Experience
Actually no interview was taken, but yes it was necessary to have a Good Gate score which allowed me to enter in this college. For the exam, i referred to various books which were given by my elder brother.
