Remarks
You have to have a graduation degree in any field. Your minimum graduation mark should be 50%. Register for NMAT by GMAC and you have to clear the cut off to be eligible. Every year, cut offs change, for the Navi Mumbai campus, it ranges from 200-220 every year.
Course Curriculum Overview
NMIMS Navi Mumbai is one of the most prestigious institutions of the city and the state. The course curriculum is robust and comprehensive. It is at par with top B schools. All the subjects are taught through case studies so that we have knowledge of practical applications, along with the theoretical concepts.
Placement Experience
The placements are excellent. They are amongst the best of all B schools. The average package is from 9-10 lakhs per annum and the highest package is around 15 lakhs per annum, approximately. Some top recruiters are IBM, ICICI Bank, Paymate, Infosys, Berger paints, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The two year fees of the college are around 9 lakhs rupees per year. The total investment would be to the tune of 18 lakhs for 2 years. The fees are expensive but considering the ROI, it is worth it. There are also merit based scholarships for those who do well in academics.
Campus Life
There are several clubs, societies and cells that keep the students engaged in the aspect of social, cultural and academic events and fests. They keep on conducting contests, quizzes and fests, on a regular basis. The online library is also very comprehensive. Overall, you will be very satisfied by the facilities and infrastructure provided, even in the online medium.
Interview Experience
There is a PI round and a WAT round at times, too. WAT topics are based on GK, current affairs and business related topics. Go through the newspapers from 2-3 months in advance. PI questions will be about your interest in MBA as a course, academic background, technical questions, and some on GK. Don't take too much stress about the PI.
