Course curriculum was worse then,now it has improved very much. The faculties are young and energetic. They infrastructure is developing year by year. Buses ply around the city. The management is well organised and active

College Events

Intercollege fest called Illuminati is organised every year. Several workshops by Top industries are conducted regularly. Sports meet and annual fest is celebrated in a grand manner. Student community is active in several clubs.

Campus Life

No wifi facility,Size is sufficient enough. Library and equipment in labs is good. The classrooms are cleaned every day. The canteen facility is good. Only drawback is the college situated in the outskirts of the city

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose geography for my graduation because of it was a rare course and only provided by three govt college in Calicut University. It is a good course and it's sub disciplines are very nice to connect with others. Frequency of exams are based on the time duration of finishing the semesters. Usually it's two sem exams in a year and with some other reasons it may get delayed. In course of three years all 6 semesters and it's exams along with project and practical will be finished. Field trip is the main attraction of the course.

SMCSI- A complete review from a budding doctor

Placement Experience:

Placements are not available in the college. After mandatory HS, we are free to find jobs. Many passed out students remain in the college as tutors while preparing for their PG entrances. Some also teach nursing and/or paramedical students. As an MBBS degree is not enough to get a job, everyone plans on joining for PG courses. MBBS degree will only get us as far as a casualty doctor or medical officer in a PMC.

Remarks:

Kannur being one of the tourist attractions and in Kerala which is culturally rich state offers a very homely environment in terms of faculties, admin team. The faculty base is very highly educated and mostly female which shows gender diversity and empowers women of all races and financial background by treating them equally.
