Remarks
We have a huge 32 acres campus and it is Wi-Fi enabled. The library has got a huge bundle of books. We have Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton and different indoor games facilities and even a gym. The campus is fill with greenery and beautiful flowers. The lab is equipped with all the best software used in the practical life.
Entrance Preview
Eligibility criteria is that you must have an intellect, this is what they say, and I have to say that they just take up an interview and check your certificates, after that they make you wait for the results which are 98% in your favor.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is also helpful to us. The curriculum is strictly designed in line with MBA, with a case study approach being followed extensively. The practical aspect of things are touched upon and it is ensured that the practical applications of theoretical aspects are taught.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are not offered as they provide final placements to the students, though informally the faculties of the placement department do help you in getting internships if you want or you can get it through a senior also, I was getting an offer to work in Ogilvy and Mather through one of my seniors.
Placement Experience
The placement was not too bad for our batch. The placement drive is still happening and we expect about 10-15 companies to come before this semester ends. Till now, the percentage of students who have got placed is 65%. The companies which came for placements are Jaro, Decathlon, Redington, Airtel, HDB, Wildcraft, Naukri, Colgate, Zoho. The roles offered are that of management trainee, TSM and sales manager.
College Events
There are many events that take place at this college for which there are many societies and clubs like Film society, gavel club, quizzes, dance club, debate society and there are activities conducted by them where the students participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities
fees for the course is quite high but to compensate they offer scholarships and concessions so you need not worry about your money. Also they offer hefty discount to those cannot afford and they have their family income less than 3,00,000.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides ample no. of opportunities for scholarships and the College has good tie-up with banks for loan facility and education loan guidance. IDBI, state bank, Allahabad bank, BOI and Axis bank are some of the banks that are available.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is very good and we are provided with Wi-Fi facility, good classrooms, and a hygienic cafeteria. The quality of the labs are good and there is my lab in charge who supports the students in all the aspects.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are good and the students have a great time where a lot of learning takes place. There are no issues with the infrastructure of the college.
Alumni/Alumna
There is an alumni association through which you can get in touch with the alumni of Ashoka and talk to them about their experiences in this field. Seniors are fine you can ask for their notes and if you are lucky you might get them.
Exam Structure
We have a hectic schedule for exams which is because we have to appear for two exams in a day. apart from that we have tests quizzes viva assignments and projects throughout the year.
Faculty
We have got the best of the best faculty members. Along with the theoretical knowledge, they also teach us their practical implementations in the real world. We have tutorial classes where we can clear our doubts. They are always there to support and motivate us. They are like our parents. They will teach you like a friend and guide you like your parents.
