Remarks
The college life according to the internet is very good. The campus is shared by SVNIT and IIIT. So the teachers and facilities available are top of the line. The institute is located at the very centre of Surat which is also a very good thing.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very advanced because of which, most of our syllabus is completed within the first 2 years. After those 2 years, we are taught new and emerging technologies by faculties from both IIIT and NIT because of which we get a lot of exposure. All in all, I would definitely suggest IIIT Surat as a good college option to anybody who ask me.
Internships Opportunities
The professors in the college have given many dedicated students internships in the past. Presently I'm working under a professor in a Machine Learning internship.
Placement Experience
The placements of the college are very good this year. The senior-most batch has had a median CTC of 12lpa and a max CTC of 41lpa . People need not look for jobs off-campus because the TNP cell does its job very well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very nominal compared to other IIITs, the details can be found on the website. Scholarships are readily available. Campus placements have been very good this year too, with an average package of 12 lpa .
Campus Life
Campus life is very happening. As I've said before, the institute is located at the very heart of Surat which makes it a great place to spend 4 years of your life. All the clubs that we can think of, exist and anybody can become a part of said clubs. Infrastructure is top of the class too.
