The programme at SIBMB for Business Analytics is relatively new started in 2019. The eligiblity for this course is simple anyone can apply and be part of it having interest to drive their career in business analytics. The application starts with the applying to snap test and then to SIBMB BA course with fees around 1000 rps for the form. There is no reservation as such and the admission process is really smooth just like any other bschool process.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is general to specific where we study subjects common the mba and then later based on our preferences we ger the chance to be more inclined towards BA Oriented analytics subjects mix of programming, excel and other tools like tablue skills and other trending software. Faculty share all knoweldge related to course regardless of backgroung in Business analytics from start or not. The semester system is there for the program of 2 years in 4 semesters.
Placement Experience
As the first batch of BA will get placement in 2021. The process is on going however based on feedback students are really getting on par placement with MBA students and their profile ranges from analyst to specialist in top financial service organisation like hdfc, icici, jpmc, cs, morgan stanley and product companies are also recruiting in huge number as use of data in decision is increasing day by day and banglore is silicon valley for companies
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is around 15 lakh per year for academics. The on campus job placement is really good all the companies who come for general mba hiring also take Business analytics students. All the BA students are getting advantage to be par on placement, internship and top companies like JPMC, ZS recruit from the same. The response from industry for sibmb this course is really good and for batch of 30 students its easy to get placed in top companies. So regardless of fees placement give surity for the outcome.
Campus Life
Campus life is really good includes 9 clubs, special interest groups, 9 committees. All BA students work along with general MBA students so its mix blend of learning. Sports faciltiy for extra curricular is also available. All students volunteer, learn organise such nice events for each other learning. Its unique expereince and students are really collobrate and help each other for future careers outcomes.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility in campus is available for boys and girls. The food is also nice, students get 4 times meal with variety of food from various fast food to general home like food is avaible in case someone want to purchae by their own then canteen is available 24*7. The cleaning, laundry and other facility is also avaible so students can focus on study
Interview Experience
The Group excercise round is general round where team building skill are getting checked. The students perform CASE BASED discussion, many time inclined towards economics, academics or towards use of business analytics in the surrounding world and trends and present their point in the group of 8-9 people everyone gets fair chance to present their points
