Remarks

There are counselling Processes organised for the college allotment process according to rank. I have applied for IIT Kanpur CSE but my rank was lower. Generally, there are no age criteria and within 8k rank is required.

Course Curriculum Overview

Basically, this course was allotted based on rank but when I went through the course and faculty background it was interesting in the current time. Student faculty ratio is 55:1. Generally, all faculty members are PHD Qualified. There are two exams conducted every year.

Internships Opportunities

Mostly Non-core companies come for internship opportunities and Software profile is most in demand. There are lots of companies that come for SDE. And students must have to do a project in the 2nd year, for credits.

Placement Experience

Almost all companies come to the campus for placement both core and none core companies come every year. Companies like Google, Microsoft, TCS etc come for hiring. Almost 98% of students get placed on campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure depends on the category. Students can avail scholarship according to financial conditions and there are various other scholarship programs as well which is organised by alumni or state every year.

Campus Life

There is various fest organised on the campus. The cultural fest is known as Kashi yatra and the tech fest is known as technex. All these fests are organised every year. Campus life amazing and exciting there are lots of things to explore on campus.

Hostel Facilities

It is compulsory for students to avail hostel on the campus. Hostel and mess is not much high. Mess food is very good and different foods are given according to the menu. Hostel admin registration is required.

The placement is good, for 2024-2025 it was around overall 89% with overall average of 7 LPA. Some famous companies that visited where Uber, Amazon, Aditya Birla, JP Morgan, Torrent Gas, etc. The highest package was 59 LPA and several other packages were above 40 LPA.

Placement scenario is good in the college.The Training and Placement Cell of MMMUT is responsible for the Internships and placements in the college. The total strength of 4th year was around 1,000 and approximately 89% placement percentage was seen in year 2024-2025. Average package was 7 LPA and highest was 59 LPA and total offers was 1100+ all for the session 2024-2025. 59 LPA package was of an IT student in Uber company. The placement of our college is decent, avg package is 7 lpa and and the highest is around 70 lpa company comes with some cutoffs for their placement appearance the minimum cgpa eligibility is 6.5 cgpa. Companies like tcs and service companies give an avg of 5 lpa package. And the product base companies give higher packages. The placement percentage is around 90% to 95%.

I choose iit bhu because of iit tag string mining dept and most imp the campus life which felt better than other options i have . I have options of few iits like iit dhanbad and all but iit bhu stood out the most from all other iits in terms of everyaspect as it has strong placements records and aluminia base with lots of supported startups.
