Remarks

I had applied for NL Dalmia Institute of Management Studies. I took admission out there only in finance specialization. I didn't avail myself of any kind of quota for admission at N L Dalmia Institute. Admission 60 % are required in graduation in any disciple along with entrance exam, There was a personal interview with 2 panelists based on specialization.

I choose this course because I had a sheer interest in the field of finance and wanted to do it from among the best institute in mumbai. Student to faculty ratio: 3 : 10 wherein we are also alloted the teachers as mentor for personal mentoring sessions every friday.Mphil, Phd, MBA, Mcom, PGDM, CA are a few qualifications of teachers at N L Dalmia. Held online on zoom platform wherein we are supposed to submit paper on LMS system of college

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 575000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Crisil as far has come to college for batch of 21-23 finance specialzation by offering GAC, GIX team offering a healthy stipend. Students will have to create a project on their summer internship which will be called as Summer Internship Project.

Placement Experience

Students from Trimester 4 becomes eligible for placements. Many companies such as Crisil, RBi, Sbi Sg, finmenadvisors, IIFL had come for internship previous year senior students. Crisil, NSE, Factset, HUL are onboard for placements highest 2 lakhs p.a as per college and Average 9 lakhs p.a. as per college

Fees and Financial Aid

For 2 years fees are 11,50,000/- for a batch of 2021-2023. College don't offer any kind of scholarships Didn't avail any financial assistance. Still pursuing a PGDM degree

Campus Life

Ace club, Finance Forum, Delta Magazine, Goonj Magazine, General Management Committee are a few committees at institute students can be a part of. Books & Journals are available as digital copies online along with that hard copies are provided by the institute to the students.

Interview Experience

There were no group discussions for a batch of 2021-23. We were asked questions based on our graduation project and financial ratios followed by some general knowledge and current affairs. Brush up on financial ratios, study from the newspaper about current affairs and online about general knowledge on finance.

PIBM review

Placement Experience:

The average Lpa of the college is 9 lpa so it is good. Marketing gets 100% placement as compared to other streams. There is booth on campus and off campus placement. And the placement cells bring good companies and there are chances of PPO also.

Remarks:

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

Remarks:

The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only institute in pune where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. In fact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.

I had applied for Welingkar,TISS, GIM. I could not attend the process for getting into it because of family issue and time goes the application for this colleges get closed and one option was remain so I applied and took the addmission into NL Dalmia. Yes I get rejection from TISS because I couldn't clear the cut off marks required for this college. Addmission Process For NL Dalmia :- Round 1 :- Group Discussion Filteration Round : Giving any random topic (Current Affairs related to market) (Around 7,8 student seat together for this round pannel is around 2) Round 2 :- Personal Interview :- Checking the Knowledge about the Bachelor Subject and If experience could ask the question relevant to it.
