Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Why did I choose NL Dalmia PGDM: I always had a keen interest in pursuing Post graduation and specialize in finance hence NL Dalmia in Mumbai was one of the best options I had in my hand. Faculty to student ratio is 3:10 that means for every 10 students there are 3 students in college and also mentors are allocated to students. Qualification: Mphil, Ph.D., Mcom, PGDM were a few degrees/qualifications teachers have at NL Dalmia. Teaching Methodology: Teachers are excellent they teach online then internals, ppt, and externals are taken place. Exam Difficulty Level: Moderate Level of Difficulty.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was a 10% fee hike in college. Scholarships: College doesn't provide any scholarships during PGDM. Cost to Study; 10,20,000/- and for juniors fees have been hiked. Jobs: Many internships and jobs come to the college offering varied roles in finance, marketing, and HR even core finance roles are provided by companies that come at college.

Campus Life

4.5

There are many annual events that take place in college across various specializations they start from October and goes on till January. Books & Journals: College has a digital library as we are attending them online and also has a subscription to HBR( Harvard business case studies), the college also has Bloomberg and certification such as BMC and BAC Groups& Clubs: College has a Finance forum, Cultural committee, Delta magazine, Goonj Magazine wherein students take part as members and have the opportunity to become CEO & Dceo of the committee in the next year.

Interview Experience

4.5

GD: the general discussion was the first round wherein candidates were supposed to speak for 1 minute on the topic given by panelists this was for the year 2020 students. I was given the topic of "Covid-19 Pandemic and its effect on Economy" Process: Followed by the general discussion I had to give a personal discussion wherein there were 2 panelists of finance experts who interviewed me on finance questions and general knowledge. Preparations: I prepared by studying economic times, Business Standard, and gd topics online, I brushed up on my basic finance questions and the graduation project which I had drafted.

Placement Experience:

The average Lpa of the college is 9 lpa so it is good. Marketing gets 100% placement as compared to other streams. There is booth on campus and off campus placement. And the placement cells bring good companies and there are chances of PPO also.

College management is not that good, which I felt is need to be improved. making everything student centric makes it difficult for students as well as college to be organised.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only institute in pune where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. In fact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.
