Remarks

IIT madras is one of the prestigious institute of India. It has NIRF 1. It has decent placement over the years. There are huge opportunities to go to foreign Universities for further studies. Their course structure is well planned.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is Mtech Mathematics and Computing. There we do have lots of opportunities for data Science, we learnt Data Structures and Algorithm as well but there was no lab involved in that course. So in Mtech Maths and Computing, there should be a lab course of DSA.

Class Size: 21Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Placement Experience

IIT MADRAS is known for its remarkable placement. We do have opportunities in both core and non core fields. If someone is not placed, they can apply for off campus opportunity or else he/she can apply for next placement session(some terms and conditions are applied here)

Campus Life

Just one word for it, Awesome. Lots of club eg music, dance, drama, sports etc are there. Pre Covid time we used to had fest there. Movie nights are there at OAT(Open Air Theatre). We do have lots of activities there.

No, there wasn't any group discussion or written test. Just we had to appear for Gate exam and had to score well in that. During admission process we received the offer of seat allotment only.

The placements for me started from end of 3rd year itself. The highest package was around 8 LPA from Mr. Cooper with additional 2L bonus if you stayed for 2 years. Avg. package was 4 LPA. 10-15 good and decent companies visited here.

Never go behind the hype giving by agencies

The outer syllubus of curiculam is good , but th ecore is very few, and the real time parctical knowledge is very week as compareed with the hype t. IITM BS DEGREE - a game changer in distant education

I choose this college over the another colleges because it is the best degree degree over the BTech from low level or tier three tier four colleges, I was having many options for T3 colleges BTech CSE, but I chose this because I think it's the best I apply to SRMS Bareilly University all the colleges I was confirmed, but I chose this college because it was providing me latest curriculum and data science is very new in this. The admission process for this degree is like if you will register in a term, you have to pay. Thousand rupee registration fee.
